Tenderfoot Lodge 2617 was made for family ski trips - a bunk room for the kids, a mountain-view suite for the parents, and a patio staring straight at Keystone's slopes.

Sleeping up to six, the layout gives everyone their own corner: kids in the bunk room, adults in the primary suite with en suite bath, and a rocking chair by the river-rock fireplace for whoever calls it first. The six-seat farmhouse table plus bar stools fits the whole crew for spaghetti night, and the pine-and-stainless kitchen has all the tools.

Mornings are painless - gear waits in ski storage, the elevator drops you down without hauling bags on stairs, and the lifts are minutes away. Afterward, grill dinner on the covered patio while the kids count skiers on the hill, then send everyone to the shared hot tubs before bed. The washer and dryer quietly resets all the layers for tomorrow.

Very comfortable condo. Hot tubs were a highlight, and we LOVED the fire place!! The walk to Peru lift was about 10 minutes. Would recommend!

The view was beautiful. It was easy to get to the shuttle by the hotel next door. Very spacious place.There was very little overhead lighting but it's not a dealbreaker. The hot tubs were a little smaller than I expected but there were two and that was nice. You could see the snowcats on the mountain grooming the runs from the hot tub and the condo.

Views gorgeous but...

The property views are as advertised if you are outside. The windows that faced the view were so dirty, you could barely see outside. Hard to enjoy deck, very dirty, full of spider webs and grease or food splash-over on bedroom window. Small grill was so dirty on the outside, we didn't even try to open. Unit and Kitchen were clean, but not many essentials. No sugar and VERY limited spice selection. Need to make ice upon arrival.
