Ideally Located in River Run, Two Private Balconies for Mountain Views!

This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo sleeps 6 with two queen beds and one Murphy bed. It features a spacious living area and two private balconies, one with slope views to the south. Ideally located in River Run Village so you’re just steps away from shopping, restaurants and local festivities. Plus, guests can walk to the high-speed gondola. Red Hawk Lodge offers shared amenities including an outdoor pool and two hot tubs.

The entryway has mounted hooks and a bench for your convenience while coming and going throughout the day. The living area features a mounted flat screen TV above a beautiful gas fireplace. There is a private balcony just off the living area and offers beautiful slope views to the south.

The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home. The dining area comfortably seats six and there are three additional seats at the breakfast bar. The first of two full bathrooms is just off of the living area and has a pedestal sink and a shower/tub combination. Both bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

The first bedroom features a queen-sized bed and a flat screen TV. The second bedroom features a queen-sized bed, a flat screen TV and its own private balcony. There is a bonus room that features a queen-sized Murphy bed and a flat screen TV. The Murphy bed can be converted from a sofa to a bed as needed. The room divider can be raised for an open feel or lowered when privacy is needed. The second guest bathroom is near the bedrooms and has a pedestal sink and a shower/tub combination.

I went with a buddy for a week of skiing in February. We go every year. As far as places we’ve stayed, this was as good as the best of them!Great location! It’s an easy walk to the gondola and to the little town. I like to cook in the kitchen as well stocked. There is not a steamer so our crab boil was nixed. There were three, two mugs of coffee packets for a week stay. I asked where they recommend we go to get more and I was told to go pick some up at the office for free. You also have to go to the office to check in. We kind of felt like we needed a rental car.Overall, the place is great and I highly recommend it.

Great location but unit not so great

PROS: Property was perfect location 3 min walk to gondola; 2 hot tubs, sauna, & heated pool nice after ski day; coin laundry on every floor; ski locker. CONS: Beds are extremely uncomfortable/hard, only 6 bath included so had to do laundry daily; 1 panel of faux wood blinds in BR w/balcony are broken/cant be raised or opened; requires hotel-style keycards which have to be picked up at the main office (bit inconvenient) but not far from the rental; was told I could pick up keycards & "welcome kit" from dropbox "early", arrived at 4:00 pm & not in dropbox as indicated, had to go upstairs to front desk. Lady at front desk was condescending asking if we were "requesting to check-in early" (which they charge for) in spite of the fact check-in is 4:30, the unit is not at same address, and sign in lobby says "keycards/welcome packets are placed in the boxes by 4:00pm daily". The kitchen had at least 1 of everything needed, no matching tuber ware, random utensils, only 1 medium size baking sheet; VERY VERY OUTDATED; fridge is small no ice maker; no keurig as stated, coffee pot cheapest you can buy (no auto-on/clock) w/aftermarket carafe that only holds 8 cups vs 12 cups (last morning coffee pot stopped working completely); all closets junked up & used as storage; blow dryer in the 1st bathroom doesnt work, there's NO ceiling lights only lamps & gloomy; 5-7 Murphy bed lights don’t work, flood light bulb in table lamp. Location/ convenience was worth it but won’t book again.

Great Trip to Keystone

Met all of our needs! The condo was in a great location with all amenities needed. Easy check-in and check out process. The Summit County Mountain Retreat Rental Company sent a daily text to see if there was anything we needed. Overall great trip, condo, and amenities! Will rent again from SCMR.

Feeling Defeated

Probably the perfect storm. The unit we stayed in was larger than expected, clean and very well equipped. However, the chemicals used to clean the unit as well as outer halls and elevator were strong. The first night of our stay we were able to open windows and have fans circulating air, but the next morning painting started on exterior of our unit and all windows were covered with plastic. The management company said we should've received a text regarding the painting a couple days prior to our arrival, however, the only message, was on the Friday before our departure. Fortunately, the window coverings were only on for one day, however, painters were onsite and on our decks during most of our stay. The management company staff was friendly and empathic, however, could not accommodate our request to move to another unit. Before calling the management company, the day after we arrived, I did check online to see if they had other availability, which it appeared that they did. In addition to the painters being onsite, we underestimated the noise from the nearby construction.

Great Communication

The communication for this property is excellent. I received emails and text before my stay and during my stay. It is a process to get the key and get to the condo and we did it at night in 0 degree weather so we wanted to do it quick. The directions were perfect and we were in and out getting the key and went straight to the condo. We had an issue with hot water and they were right on it and sending texts to fix it. Would definitely stay again.

Was not as advertised due to construction.

The Property would have been fine had there been no construction. The construction of the nearby Kindred though resulted in you having to take a massive detour to get to the slopes: maybe 3-5 times the distance you’d otherwise walk. That made it highly inconvenient to bring your skis and equipment from the location. This wasn’t disclosed in the listing and the management company was not helpful in accommodating the issue. Before you rent this unit make sure the construction access issue has been resolved.

Excellent pre holiday stay

Stayed the weekend before Thanksgiving with sons and their friends. Easy walking distance for them to ski at Keystone. Able to come home for lunch. Heated hot tubs and pool. Only caution is that the pool deck at night is icey and slippery. Built in microwave didn’t work (over 2 min and coffee not even warm) mgmt did bring us a temp which was great and they were very responsive thru entire trip, but since this was a issue from an Oct review probably needs to be fixed or replaced. We loved our time and would stay again!

Good sized unit. The location was very close to shops and dining (walking distance), which was a plus. For the most part it was clean, but it appeared they never vacuumed as the carpet was filthy. There was food or dog treats (not sure) on the living room floor and there was some sort of smell throughout. There was no real Mountain view, which was disappointing and there was construction going on next door (no fault of the owners). Overall it was an okay stay for a quick trip.

This Red Hawk Lodge unit was perfect for our family of four that needed three separate sleeping areas. The lodge is in a great location at the base of the mountain, with an short walk to the village and even shorter walk to the trail along the river. Be sure to check with the property manager on the status of laundry facilities if you think you'll need them. There were no on-site options for purchasing detergent or getting change.

Quiet, tidy, and relaxing

This condo had all I needed and more. The condo was very clean, (and I’m a clean freak so I am a harsh critic), quiet, I never heard the neighbors or upstairs neighbors. It had all the cooking equipment I could desire, and the bed was comfy. It also had netflix, super fast internet, and some cooking basics which I appreciated. The property was in good condition. It was right by a walking trail so I could easily get exercise, and everything was in working condition. One of the showers was a little bit slow to drain but I think that’s an easy fix.The only thing I didn’t like was the bobcat hide on the wall. Would be much better if she was alive. I really didn’t like it, and found it tacky. The property management company was very helpful and very quick to respond to any of my questions.

Beautiful place!

This condo is nice and comfortable for a group of 4. Check-in requires a lot of steps, but with a quick phone call they helped us figure everything out. Additionally, it would have been nice to know beforehand how difficult doing laundry would be. The machines are run by quarters but the change machine provided in the lobby did not work, no detergent in the dispensers, and the dryer can only handle a few items or else they will not dry. Those were the only inconveniences we had & overall it was in a great location. The condo also had extra amenities like blow dryers, soap, and extra towels which was nice for a longer stay.

Great location

Couldn’t do an early check-in due to others being there but they were as accommodating as possible by giving us a parking pass while we waited so we could walk around. Great space, so the third living space with the Murphy bed is not very private with just blind and the sliding door as long as you’re aware of that it works well. The second bathroom lock on the door did not work but was very clean and had great space. Great location right next to the slopes & close to restaurants /shopping . Kitchen had everything we needed. I would use them again. It was a very easy Check out process. Overall very happy with it.
