Penthouse Condo w/ Spacious Balcony for Beautiful Views, 5 mins to Base Area!

This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom penthouse condo sleeps 6 with a king bed, a queen bed and a queen sleeper sofa. It features vaulted ceilings and the spacious balcony offers beautiful views of the mountains. Upgrades throughout in Fall 2020, including new carpeting, paint, and granite countertops. The Mountain House Base area and Peru Express lift are only about a 5 minute walk away, or you can take the shuttle anywhere in the resort. Hidden River Lodge offers shared amenities including a large outdoor deck with seating and two hot tubs offering gorgeous slope views.

The living area features a 4K HDR Smart TV. Curl up after a day of outdoor fun to watch your favorite show and warm up in front of the gas fireplace. The comfortable couch pulls out into a queen-sized sofa sleeper with a memory foam mattress. Additional linens are in a closet. The homeowner has provided a selection of games and books for your enjoyment. The spacious private balcony is just off the living area offering fresh mountain air and mountain views.

The full-sized kitchen features granite countertops and is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home and the breakfast bar seats three. The first of two full bathrooms is just off of the living area and it has a single sink vanity and a shower/tub combination. All bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

The primary bedroom features a king-sized bed, a flat screen TV and a seating area near the window. The en suite bathroom has double sinks, a shower/tub combination and a door separates the toilet area for added privacy. The guest bedroom features a queen-sized bed and a skylight.

(For additional sleeping options, air mattresses are available upon request for a small fee.)

Hidden river

This place is very small. Not even room for a table.NO a/c and one room doesn’t have any windows to open. So if you come when it warm, it’s going to be a problem. Stove did not work well and there was none of the usual condiments available (oil, peanut butter, etc
) 3 packages of sugar was left, 2 sweetener, and 1 packet of coffee. On the plus side. The place was very clean and there was a laundry available on the same floor.location was good also.

Nice place, very clean. Hot tubs are nice. Only complaint is the bedroom faces the highway and it’s loud at night with windows open. Also there is no window in the second bedroom. Would be a great spot if you were visiting to ski.

Lovely

This property was very nice. I can see why it would be ideal for skier's. With the ski lifts so close. The view from this condo and location is perfect for nice getaway. We were there for a peaceful anniversary trip to a new destination. The facility is a bit outdated but it looks like a bit of maintenance was going on. The hot tubs were fantastic. While this will not prevent us from coming back there were a few things that were disappointing. Someone very close was frequently smoking marijuana outside and it covered the balcony and into the place. Since it was too warm not have the windows and door open this was very annoying to deal with. I would also suggest the owners get a Keurig or single serve coffee maker and include some simple staples. This was the first VRBO I've ever used that didn't have a small cupboard with food staples like oil, flour, or sugar. There are some spices but most of them are crazy silly like coriander and mustard seeds. I would highly suggest the owners dump those and include more widely used like cumin or paprika. It's the small things that make a big difference and when staying a weekend across so far away from home it's a big deal to have to pack or purchase such simple things that could be available. The soaps and shampoo are great but most people do remember their bathroom supplies and if not they can purchase those in travel sizes. You can't buy a travel size oil for a fried egg or flour to make breakfast gravy.

Weekend getaway

Enjoyed our stay close to restaurants we were able to walk to River Run Village and walk along the Snake River. The only complaint was the traffic windows and deck are facing the hiway. We are used to our quiet farm so to hear semis and many cars driving by and the lights of the cars and sign was hard but we made it doable by running a fan the whole time so we were able to sleep. All in all we enjoyed our stay and appreciate the cleanliness and communicative owner of the condo. Thank you!

Clean condo and reasonably priced

The condo was clean and while the building was in a good location the one side of the building faces highway 6 like many in the area. If you're used to lots of traffic then you might not mind it but having to have the windows open 24/7 and liking to sit outside it was not ideal. I would have paid more money to be on the other side of the building. Every fuel tanker truck going on I70 has to bypass the tunnel so they ALL go through Keystone. 2nd bedroom only had a skylight so no egress window or way to vent the room. It was very hot in there. We couldn't get the LR ceiling fan to work and the pilot light for the fireplace was on so the room was hot. Hot tubs were broken and closed. One of the main reasons we choose to stay here. We were pretty disappointed. No communication as to this fact. If you can get a condo on the mountain side and the hot tubs are working it's a nice place.

Freshly Laundered Lies and Platitudes

The property was clean and in reasonable condition. However, we booked here because the listing said there was a heated community pool and hot tub-and we have folks in our party that have mobility challenges and still wanted to enjoy the mountains. Neither was true! Apparently the pool never existed. Despite consistent communication with several agents no solution was offered and in fact it seems like they were not even reading the previous thread so they parroted the same platitudes without seeing the whole picture and therefore never responded to direct questions. The customer service was poor at best.

DO NOT STAY HERE. A month after making my reservation the host reached out saying I would need to pay another fee and that if I did not pay it my reservation would be cancelled. This fee was almost as much as the room itself and was in addition to the other two fees I paid for when making the reservation. They claimed this was for a “cleaning fee” but they didn’t have this cleaning fee listed anywhere on the page when I booked which is standard for every other listing on these sites. I ended up just paying the fee because I didn’t want them to cancel my reservation. But I’m disgusted with how this happened. When talking with their email support they claimed that they have in their policies that they’re “allowed to add any additional charges they see fit.” They’re clearly taking advantage of people. Absolutely awful experience.

Overall Good Value

Ok, here is the good and bad. Beautiful location, Keystone is a quiet condo community. Top floor condo was very clean. King size bed and pillows were comfy. Perfect size for 2 people. Nice big ceiling fans. Decorated and updated well. Living room was small, kitchen amenities were not great, ice maker didn’t work, no non-stick skillets, spices provided but not much else. Biggest disappointment was the traffic noise because unit is on Hwy 6 side of building. No A/C so having the slider open was necessary for us. If windows and doors are closed it’s pretty quiet. Overall a good value, I would stay here again if the temps are right.
