Kihei Bay Surf Studio #144 is a beautifully remodeled studio with a new split system A/C that can sleep up to 3 with a queen bed and a queen Tommy Bahama sofa bed. The unit is conveniently located on the lower level, and the lanai overlooks the pool area. This tiled unit features new split A/C system, a fully equipped kitchen with a full stove, new stainless dishwasher, new refrigerator, and tiled counter tops. It is nicely furnished and has Cable TV, and free long distance calling. The Smart TV is equipped with Smart Network technology, allowing you to log into your account with Netflix, Hulu Plus, YouTube, CinemaNow, etc., to stream movies. For those who need to stay in touch while on vacation, Kihei Bay Surf Studio #144 is equipped with complimentary high speed wireless service. The queen bed has a brand new pillow-top mattress and box spring. Coin-operated laundry room on-site.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation require a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. This unit is only available to book for a maximum of a 30 night stay.
The Kihei Bay Surf is located in North Kihei across the street from the Whale Sanctuary and Kalepolepo Beach and an ancient Hawaiian fishpond. Each studio has a fully equipped kitchen, Cable TV and can sleep from 2-3 people. In addition there is a large pool, hot tub, tennis court, gas grills and common laundry areas for your use. Whale watch, windsurf, walk the beach and enjoy the most amazing sunsets imaginable. The Kihei Bay Surf is centrally located to shops, restaurants and is just minutes from the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena. This is one of the best values in Kihei where guests return year after year. Sleeps 3.
** Important Update: A construction project is scheduled for April through July 2024 (estimate). The work will consist of removal of the old roof and solar panels, and installation of the new roof and solar panels. Work is allowed Monday-Saturday from 8am-5pm. Equipment will be staged throughout the complex as they work on each section of the roof. This work will consist of loud construction days. The unit is just across the road from a beautiful park and beach and is also conveniently located near the main shopping area of Kihei. The unit itself is right next to the pool and the complex management cleans the pool area every day at 7:30am until about 9:30am. The gardeners also start work at about that time. This made it almost impossible to have a quiet, enjoyable morning on the lanai

Overall, the location was good; near the start of Kihei as you move to Wailea. The unit itself was ok; the A/C was great, parking was a little tight, the bed was fine, and the water pressure in the shower was adequate. All in all, nothing negative except for the small pest issue. This may be more property than unit. Living on Oahu, I understand pest issues but, if I have to use my own money for pest control, then that's a detractor. Hopefully, they can get that resolved.

Nice and quiet room in a perfect location in Kihei. Located right across the street from the beach it was very comfortable. At first we had issues with the TV remote not synced with the cable, they came out and fixed the remote. Also the sheet we had at first smelled like body oder, but they came and changed that too. You can hear the people above you walking around but not too bad. The dishwasher seemed to be haunted because it came on twice by itself, creepy. The shower head needs to be updated. The kitchen had 99% of cooking items you needed except for measuring cups. It also came with beach equipment like chairs, towels etc… They need to update the laminated TV instructions or just get rid of them. Overall we had a nice stay.

we had a great time. Turtle and whale sanctuary right across the street. Convienient for my daughter and I. The pool guy accused us of breaking a rule, we didnt. Other than that I would be happy to stay here again. Cute and cozy. right at the pool for your convienience. Nice hot tub.
