Cute little hut in the best location. Very peaceful. Great host. Only recommendation would be for the owners dog poop to be picked up (in their separate garden, but still visible & where the chickens walk about).
enjoyed the inside of the hut. comfortable bed. good seating. good parking.
however, loads of inconsistencies which meant poor overall experience. i emailed the owner on 12 Aug. No response. When speaking to them on 15 Aug, they said they received the email but did not respond because although my email checked out, there was no reservation number but they did not ask for it. it is advertised as "2 minutes from the beach" but does not say it's 2 minutes by car and about 5-10 minutes by foot, depending on mobility/fitness. breakfast options are inconsistent (we had cereal and no fruit or yoghurt on day 1; 2 pieces of fruit on day 2; 2 pieces of fruit and yoghurt on day 3 but only 3 slices of bread rather than 4 as in previous days). advert says "fresh bread" - it's just processed commercial bread. advert says "ecofriendly" and "eco minded" - everything is plastic, inside and outside, including most packaging for breakfast. the outside of the property looks unkept and is next to a huge depot that blocks both sunrise and sunset view. in addition, the place is next to what can only be described as a junk yard full of piled items in various stages of rust / disrepair. although it could be a quiet location, there are cars coming in and out, machines some sort of drilling) and the proximity with the fire pits makes it impossible to either dry clothes and towels used at the beach or keep windows open. entrance to property has steps, not clear. all in all, would not use again.
