The Kobe Meriken Park Oriental Hotel is located directly at the harbor in Kobe. Our room was spacious and clean and it had great view of the city and the harbor. ample parking is available. Excellent buffet breakfast & dinner are offered at the hotel.

The room view was gorgeous, and the entire hotel was beautiful. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet and dinner buffet with all you can eat crab. The quality of food was great. I felt the receptionist at the front desk was very rude. She was very short in her responses to me and not welcoming. As an American I would not recommend this hotel to another American. As the first representative of the hotel they should find someone who makes international guests feel welcome. It made me wonder if it reflected the sentiment of the entire hotel. The lack of effort she made to explain the hotel amenities was poor.

Beautiful hotel, unfortunately my experience was not good. I booked an additional night and had to check out and check back in 3 hours later. I requested a late checkout, $3,000 yen for 1 extra hour. The bar on the 14th floor charged $1,100 yen as a cover charge. Access to the pool/sauna $1,650 yen, $300 yen for bath hat. I called the bellhop to assist with my luggage, not available to assist.

Amazing hotel and fabulous night view of the lit up Ferris wheel. Great location on the pier. Rooms are big and well Laid out. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

The hotel staff were all helpful and friendly from check in, to bar and cleaning staff. Rooms were very clean with comfortable bed and everything you need provided including razors,toothbrushes and even phone chargers.The only negative was the spa which was not upto the standard of the rest of the hotel it was not very clean , needed some updating and should have been included in the price. Views from all the rooms are fantastic from any direction a real plus point of the hotel. Very accessible for shopping and restaurants would definitely stay again .

Excellent.Beautiful harbor view. Relaxing environment. Nice to stroll around in the harborland neighborhood area with little shops and resturants.Close walking distance to Diamaru department store. Such beautiful store area. Room is spacious and clean with balcony harbor view. Service is good. Highly recommend.
