Awful. Worst Ritz-Carlton experience ever

Check-In: Double-charged. Conditions crap, untidy and worn appearance, buggy service slow and took ages to get one for dinner - slow response and take ages to even read message, then a long time to come. Even worse when time to check out and catch our flight. Pony was arrogant, sneering and dismissive Smoking workers in buggy route when going to dinner, we were driven through it despite buggy driver seeing them and greeting them further up road. Guests allowed to smoke in bar seating area where other guests had no option to sit and breathe in the second hand smoke. Bar staff surly Baby allowed in pool without nappy Pillows tired and had no neck support Service slow and poor A bad look, can’t believe this tired resort was The Ritz-Carlton Go stay at the Four Seasons instead

Outstanding Koh Samui Hotel & Spa

The Hotel and food were great. Our ocean front one bedroom villa was outstanding with its own plunge pool. Worth the extra expense. Also the Thai Massage at the spa was outstanding. We highly recommend it. The beach fire walker show was very well done. Great place to catch some rest and downtime after travelling several destinations in Thailand.

Beautiful Hotel

The hotel was beautiful, the staff very helpful, service was excellent. The resort is large and transportation is by trolly . They were very quick and efficient. We did not wait more than 5 mins for a trolly. The breakfast was very good. Overall a very enjoyable stay. One improvement could be at the Beach/ Ocean area. As the ocean here experiences Riptides, the warning flag is by the pool area and not the beach. The flag should be closer to the actual beach /entry to the ocean for safety reasons. One teenager in our group entered the water, the kids were not aware the flag at the pool was for the beach. Thankfully he got out quickly and was safe. If you have kids, please make them aware of this.

We stayed four nights in a beautiful villa overlooking the sea. Service was good enough (staff really made an effort, especially Ping and Beauty), and the premises of the hotel were OK. However, none of this justified the price of about 1000 euro daily we were charged. The breakfast room was a big, sad, and noisy hall with lots of poorly-dressed guests swarming around with plenty of children. We needed to arrive early if we wanted to be seated at a decent table. Their private beach was underwhelming. In short, if you’re looking for an exclusive and relaxing experience, this resort is not from you.

Great property for family vacation

the propety is large and quite well maintained; there are enough dining choices and prices are fair for a resort of this standing; the pool is great place to spend the day with kids; the beach is not the place to really swim- too much current; overall - there is, visibly an effort to upgrade the service level with more professional stuff; the property stay highly recommended in my opinion;
