•WALKING DISTANCE TO/FROM THE BEACH• The Kiahuna Plantation is the only beachfront condominium resort on the entire south shore. Here you can WALK to the sand! Surf, snorkel, play in the waves. This resort is located on the south shore of Kauai which is the SUNNY side of the island and receives more sunshine and nice weather than any other part of the island.

•AIR CONDITIONING UNIT• Not all condos have an A/C in the unit, but ours does! Of course, if you want to enjoy the fresh Hawaii air, feel free to turn off the AC, open up the sliding glass door, and enjoy the nice cool breeze.

•FEEL AT HOME• Vaulted ceilings, plantation shutters, and a nice tropical vacation vibe. Watch TV from the comfortable couch on the flatscreen and enjoy the free Wi-Fi access. Our unit includes all kitchen amenities that you may need, complete with full-sized appliances. The four-person dining table is the perfect spot for family meals or fun board games. Out on the private lanai, you can dine at another four-person table or settle in with a good book on one of the two loungers.

•GOOD NIGHT’S SLEEP• The Bedroom has a comfortable king-sized bed to ensure a comfortable night’s rest. The living room couch can also be converted and used as a queen sleeper sofa.

•POIPU ATHLETIC CLUB EXCLUSIVE ACCESS• Pool w/water slide, sandy bottom pool for kids, fitness gym and classes, tennis, pickleball and basketball courts, full cardio & weight room. Cabana Bar & Grill with poolside service.

•BEACH AMENITIES• Snorkels, body boards, floaters, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach bag, cooler for our guests to use. There are also surfing lessons and rentals that are available right by the beach.

Start your day off with a cup of coffee from Little Fish Coffee just across the street or enjoy a cold-pressed juice from Kauai Juice Co or a Starbucks coffee at Poipu Shopping Village. From there, you’ve got restaurants, a general store, clothing stores, and more.

Beach? You’re in luck! You are just a few minutes’ walk away from Kiahuna beach or a minute drive away from one of the best beaches out there, Poipu beach. Bring the snorkels, chairs, and umbrella that are in the unit for our guests to use.

Amenities? Pool, gym, fitness center, tennis and basketball courts, and more are available exclusively for our guests to use and they are all just right across the street. On-site grills are also available for BBQ–there’s one right by the building. An on-site laundry facility is also available that accepts credit card, cash, or Apple pay.

We are members of the Poipu Beach Athletic Club. Our guests have full access to the club including the pool with slide, sand-bottom pool for the kids, tennis courts, pickleball courts, basketball courts, poolside Grill & Bar, and work out equipment at no extra charge. Complimentary parking is right outside the unit. On-site laundry facility for the resort and outdoor BBQ and picnic tables are scattered throughout the property.

•To Kiahuna Beach: 2-5 mins walk
•To Poipu Beach: 1 min drive/ 10-15 mins walk
•To Poipu Athletic Club (pool, hot tub, gym, etc.): 5 mins walk
•To Shopping Center: 3 min walk
Other things to note
Also worth noting for those new to Kauai's charm, there are lots of flora and fauna that one may not be used to on the mainland. As a tropical paradise, there is an abundance of feral chickens and roosters throughout the island and geckos. We treat our unit for pests regularly, but given Kauai's tropical climate, you may still cross across something. Also, during the rainy season, you may notice that gnats are at their peak. It is important to keep in mind that these harmless pests may be beyond our control as this is part of Hawaii living. Please remember that these creatures have been here a long time, and as stewards to the islands, we must respect the aina and all that is in it.
