This ground-floor condo features an open, two-story loft layout with a thoughtfully furnished interior. Tropical breezes circulate regularly throughout the space with the help of ceiling fans (as well as air conditioning in the main bedroom). After a day at the beach, cool off in the spacious living room and watch your favorite shows on the smart TV. A two-seater breakfast bar connects the space to the kitchen, where you'll find beautiful wood cabinetry, elegant countertops, and a full suite of stainless steel appliances. Enjoy meals indoors at the dining table for six or head to the patio for alfresco dining at the table set for four. Your garden-level condo is located at Poipu Kai Manualoha, a property that's wonderfully located near the very heart of Poipu and just up a garden path from Brennecke's Beach. If you're a golfer, you'll have your choice of world-class courses nearby, including Poipu Bay (one mile east) and the Kiahuna Golf Club (less than two miles west). Some of the south shore's most beloved restaurants and eateries are also close by, including the famous Puka Dog (a quarter-mile west), Kauai Juice Co. (one mile west), and Beach House Restaurant (two miles west).

We had a great stay at this home in Kauai. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to cook meals during our trip. The location was wonderful—just a short walk to the beach—and it was great that beach chairs, an umbrella, and snorkel gear were provided. We also really enjoyed the cute back patio, which was a nice place to relax after a day out.We did have a little trouble getting in when we first arrived, but the host responded quickly and got us access to a key, which we appreciated.The only issue we ran into was at the end of our stay. We tried to extend our visit through an offer on the platform, but it didn’t go through. When we reached out the day of, the management company wasn’t very helpful in trying to secure the additional day. They did offer to give us a little extra time before checkout, which was kind, but unfortunately that wasn’t communicated to the cleaners or owners, which created some confusion.Overall, it was a lovely place to stay and a great home base for enjoying Kauai.

Smith Family Vacation 2024

We had a great time! It was just as expected. Nice kitchen. So close to the beach we could walk there. Kids had fun learning to surf. This was a great place for sleeping arrangements with grown children as they had separate beds. We left a few edible items in fridge and counter the staff can have.

Loved it!

We loved our vacation to Kauai and the location of this property. The grounds were beautifully manicured and the walk to the beach was short. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants and seeing the turtles and seals on the beach and in the water. The unit was perfect for us and our three kids. My only complaint was there was no salt and pepper so I had to buy some because we wanted to cook some breakfasts and dinners there. Usually there are basic cooking essentials like that. I left the salt and pepper I bought there for the next person. And, we emailed prior to our trip to ask if there were beach towels and the response said no. So we hauled our beach towels from home, only to find pool/beach towels there for us to use. Other than that, everything was just as described and pictured. There was a closet with beach supplies- boogie boards, chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc. These were not in the listing so details like that could be added. We did not use the A/C, as the weather was mild and the shutters open and fans provided plenty of air flow.

Great home base

This property is roomy, clean and very well stocked. It had everything we needed for a great stay in Kauai. The property itself is beautiful and quiet but within walking distance of several beaches, lots of activities and some restaurants. The pools were simple but clean and enjoyable. We would have enjoyed the outdoor seating area not being right off the parking/road side of the building. But there are so many things in Poipu and Kauai to do and enjoy and this is a great home base for that!

Great Condo, great location

My family and I stayed here the first week in November 2022. The condo was clean, beautiful, and had all the recreational amenities that most families would want: beach umbrella, 4 beach chairs, 2 boogie boards, snorkel sets. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need if you want to make all your meals. We had an issue with the water heater the first few days, but Vacasa was very responsive and sent a repairman out to service it/ solve the problem. The A/C unit was very nice to have in the master bedroom while we were sleeping, and there were plenty of fans throughout the unit. Our kids loved the short walk to Brenneke Beach for boogie boarding/body surfing, and also the short walk to Poipu Beach park for snorkeling. They also loved the loft area and the attached balcony!

Poipu Kai - Manualoha

Our family had a great time at Manualoha 501. It was super clean, close to the pool and beach. The condo was equipped with all the necessities for the kitchen, as well as, many beach towels and beach toys (i.e. boogie boards, snorkels, flippers, tennis racquets, tennis balls, and football). Due to the heat-wave Kauai was experiencing a plug-in fan would have really helped, although there was an upstairs fan that tried to circulate the air best of its ability. On a side note, the condo association was in a phase where all the exterior buildings were being painted and unfortunately the painting workers supplies were stored along side of our condo. This was an eye sore and being greeted daily by workers coming back for supplies was not so private. A suggestion might be to have the painting workers store their supplies in many of the vacant parking stalls on the property.

Walking distance to beaches and restaurants made this condo a great rental. Cleanness was a plus as well. We weren’t able to connect rental agency with a couple of questions
