Guest Access:

You will receive a link to an online guest book when it gets close to your arrival date. You will receive the link by email and text. The home has an electronic lock at the bottom level where the cars are parked. A code will be generated into your guest book just before your arrival day.



The Neighborhood:

Poipu Kai is a 70-acre resort community in Poipu. The community consists of seven condo developments with their own swimming pools, an 8-court Poipu Kai Tennis Club, a community pool and hot tub, and the beautiful Green Belt, garden paths connecting the areas of the resort. The resort is between the Hyatt and Shipwreck`s Beach to Brennecke`s and Poipu beaches. Restaurants to walk to are the Grand Hyatt Kauai, the Poipu Bay Golf Course, Kalapaki Joe`s, and Brennecke`s Restaurant.



Getting Around:

When visiting Kauai, we highly recommend renting a car to enhance your experience and give you the freedom to explore the island at your own pace. While there are other transportation options available, such as the Kauai Bus, it's important to note that the bus service may not run as frequently as you might expect.



Having a rental car allows you to easily access all the incredible sights and attractions that Kauai has to offer. From the stunning Na Pali Coast to the breathtaking Waimea Canyon, having your own transportation gives you the flexibility to visit these iconic locations on your own schedule.

We stayed at the condo for a week and it was generally a very good experience. The location is excellent, the unit itself is decent, but can do with better maintenance as it shows some ware and tear and the mobile AC units are shabbily installed. All in all a good experience.

The location and club access are the best parts of this property! We had some issues with the A/C several times but the property manager was quick to respond both times. The location is great and close to everything. The club was great for our kids that like to workout and for the family to play pickleball. Other than that, I would say it was clean and good enough for what we were looking for.

Great stay

Location is perfect and can walk to the beach and get to shops/restaurants easily. The condo has all you need in the kitchen and has beach chairs & boogie boards to use. The hosts were very communicative and kind to us, and we would love to return soon!

I won't go in to all the details but we had an issue with the heat in the place. Lowest we got it was 81 which isn't sleepable in. The owners were great to work with so I will give them props there. I'm guessing most don't have this experience which is why it's such a highly rated place. Great location too.

Great location and property

The condo was beautifully decorated and easy walking distance to the beach. The location was great. The condo is updated in terms of appliances, furniture, and the beds were comfortable. It was nice having a washer and dryer in the unit as well as beach gear. Some minor feedback for improvement would be the carpet. It could use a good cleaning as this is the first thing you’ll notice when you walk in. The upstairs master did not have black out blinds, so you'll get some headlights lighting up the room at night. Was weird the first night, but you get used to it. Beside these two minor things, this place is wonderful. The communication before and during the trip was fantastic. Would for sure stay here again.

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The complex is well maintained and the accommodations were wonderful. We especially appreciated that the beach chairs & equipment were there, and were thankful to have the laundry facilities right in the unit. We would definitely stay there again on our next trip.

Very nice condo

The condo is very well located and the mountain view is good. The balcony is spacious and located towards the east with a lot of morning sun. However, there is a crossroad and the street to the Hilton and other Hotels close by, so expect some car noise. The sleeping rooms have a very good size and are well furnished so are the bathrooms. They even provide shampoo, showergel, conditioner and lots of towels (including beach towels) and beachgear. The kitchen has everything you need including a good variety of spices, salt, pepper and heaps of pans, pots and glasses. The cleanliness was very good. Beside the bathrooms and kitchen, the whole condo has carpeted floors, which feels a bit used already and might not be the best choice for a condo in tropics. Overall very worth the money and thanks for everything.

Great location

Easy walking to two beaches. Property could use a good carpet shampooing and some screen/window fixing. We still enjoyed our stay and it was overall clean. It’s just not as spotless as we had hoped, given that nobody is supposed to wear shoes inside which is pretty normal for Hawai’i. We had a few small issues with the windows and screens and the property manager responded very quickly and did everything to fix it. We would stay there again.

Great location! Place came fully stocked too which was soo nice! There is a coffee pot and tea kettle. In the bottom bedroom closet there is plenty of beach stuff such as a huge cooler, towels, snorkel gear and umbrellas. Was so nice to not have to bring these things with us. The view is amazing and we would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Poipu!

Great location and condo

My family and I were very pleased with the stay. The property is located near most things to do on the south side. There was a lot of attention to details with things like supplying actual (Costco brand) shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Some cooking supplies such as (nonexpired) olive oil/balsamic vinaigrette and other spices made simple meals easy to prepare. As a family with kids it was very nice having 2 separate bathrooms and 2 separate bedrooms for privacy. Another location in Princeville that we are still currently at (paying more for) does not have any of these amenities and is not in nearly as good of overall condition. We highly recommend this location for your stay.

Great location

The location was great -- a pretty walk through the resort to the Poipu beach. It was also a central location when driving to Waimea canyon or up to the North shore. The condo was comfortable with updated bathrooms and a well-stocked kitchen. We went with teens, but would be ideal for a family with littles, as well.

We really enjoyed our stay. Really nice two bedroom unit with a great little pool just down the stairs and a nice view from the balcony. The Poipu Athletic center was a great perk! Huge and versatile workout center with TRX, two basketball courts, pickle ball, etc. We would definitely stay there again.

Well appointed condo with great location and access to multiple pools

Great 2 level condo unit with AC units in both bedrooms and a great flow of air on the main floor with a ceiling fan. We really enjoyed our stay. The unit has great amenities in the kitchen and also plenty of beach equipment. Totally saved us time and money without needing to rent those things. The pool just outside the units entry staircase was very nice and it felt like our own private oasis. You also can access the association pool area which is a bigger pool with also a hot tub. The homeowner also gives you access to the Poipu beach athletic club which was totally awesome. Like a country club. Totally awesome place to stay

Amazing Condo

We loved our stay at this condo in Poipu. It was super clean, all of the appliances worked, communication was above-par, and it was about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. We also appreciated having some air conditioning units for nights that were a little warm.
