Unit close to road, rather noisy

This unit was very close to the main road and with the ceiling section open to the outside, it was too noisy for us. The patio was nice with a view of property and a bit of the ocean. It is an upper level unit that was well stocked in the kitchen. It would have been nice if there were a couple of beach chairs rather than having to rent them. There were several small water detection alarms in the bathroom and kitchen that went off many times which was frustrating. Overall, the unit is fine but wasn’t the best fit for us.

If you can handle no AC in the living spaces, this is a perfect location. Great kitchen and lanai.

Nice stay in Poipu!

We loved the location of this property. The Living room gets really hot during the day. The first 2 nights we used the AC that is in the bedroom, it's loud and has a bright light which made it a bit difficult to sleep, the last few nights we didn't need it and slept great. The kitchen is beautiful and has all the utensils you may need. It would be nice to at least get some condiments like salt and pepper. We went to the market and bought everything we needed for the week. We asked if there was a sofa bed in the living room and were told that the property does not have a sofa bed and that we could get rollaway bed for an extra charge however there was a sofa bed. We also asked if there was any beach equipment but were not given any answer. There were some chairs so we just rented a beach umbrella from Nukumoi Surf Co. The access to the Poipu Athletic Club is very nice. The pools in the property are nice as well. The checkout process was very easy. Overall we had a nice vacation and will return to Kauai in the future.
