BRAND NEW HOME ON BEAUTIFUL NORRIS LAKE. THIS HOUSE WILL AMAZE YOU WITH ALL THE EXTRAS. IT IS A PREMIER LOCATION IN A GATED COMMUNITY AT SHANGHAI LANDING. STAY AND RELAX ON EITHER OF THE HUGE DECKS WITH AMAZING VIEWS. THIS HOUSE IS BREATHTAKING WHEN YOU WALK IN WITH ALL THE WINDOWS AND DOORS LOOKING OUT TO NORRIS LAKE. THE KITCHEN IS FULLY EQUIPPED WITH A REFRIGERATOR, 3 STOVES, 2 AIR FRYERS, AND LOTS OF ROOM TO COOK. ALSO, RIGHT OFF THE KITCHEN IN THE PANTRY IS ANOTHER FULL-SIZE REFRIGERATOR. THE ISLAND HAS SEATING FOR 12 AND THE DINING ROOM TABLE HAS A TABLE FOR 8. THERE IS A MASTER BEDROOM ON THE MAIN LEVEL, THE BATHROOM HAS A HUGE WALK IN SHOWER AND A MINI FRIDGE. DOWNSTAIRS YOU HAVE A BIG FAMILY ROOM WITH A BAR AND SMALL FRIDGE., WITH LOTS OF WINDOWS AND PATIO DOORS TO THE DECK. THERE ARE 3 BEDROOMS ON THE LOWER LEVEL, A MASTER WITH 2 BEDS AND 2 BUNK ROOMS. THIS AMAZING HOUSE HAS PLENTY OF SPACE. OUTSIDE YOU CAN ENJOY LOTS OF PATIO SEATING WITH A PROPANE FIREPLACE. THERE IS A LARGE GRILL AND A BLACKSTONE ON THE UPPER DECK RIGHT OFF THE KITCHEN. PLENTY OF ROOM FOR ENTERTAINING. YOU WILL HAVE PLENTY OF ICE WITH THE BIG COMMERCIAL ICE MAKER IN THE ICE ROOM. GO OFF THE BOTTOM DECK TO GET TO THE PRIVATE DOCK WITH VERY FEW STEPS. Check-in was very easy. We brought our boat and used the local ramp, which worked well. The house was extremely clean, new and beautiful. It was very well equipped for 2-3 families. The back porch was awesome with beautiful views of the lake and a great place to have coffee in the AM. The only complaint is the walk down to the dock. It is all gravel, steep and a few off is slid and fell. There needs to be a concrete walkway installed. The dock was very nice and new, but there were no chairs for us to enjoy. Overall a great experience and would stay there again.

Week of the 4th ‘25

We loved the stay at the lake, this was our second year at Norris. We had a great stay last year in Deerfield, but your lake home was almost perfectly suited to our family. The dock accommodated all our toys, we had a pontoon and two jet skis, and still had an extra slip for when we had friend visit. The kitchen was equipped with all we needed, with plenty of room for our large crew to eat inside or out!

Wonderful Trip

My family of 5 stayed in this home last week for our Summer vacation. The location of the home is perfect. It was very clean and smelled amazing (brand new house). The walk down the hill to the lake was easy for all of us (not a far walk and not too steep). The driveway for this home was also not steep at all (nothing like other homes on Norris). The neighborhood was gated and quiet. The kitchen had everything you can imagine (even sharpened knives and decent pans!). We loved the ice room for making cooler packing extra easy. We rented a boat and had it delivered the day we arrived and picked up the day we left. We did rent a jet ski from sugar hollow Marina (5 minute boat ride to pick up and return). Shanghai marina is right around the corner from this house as well. We were able to watch fireworks from the dock on the first night of our stay which was a great surprise. The only negative was that the listing had stated there were 2 kayaks and 1 paddle board. There was only 1 kayak (one was lost in a storm) and the paddle board was missing the paddle. We ended up going to Walmart to get a paddle for the paddle board because our boys (15, 17, and 19) wanted to use it. We left the paddle we purchased for future renters. All in all was a great house in a perfect location. We will be back! Thank you!!

Shanghai lake livin

New house with great open spaces and a well supplied kitchen. The location is excellent just off the Shanghai ocean but far enough down a cove to keep a docked boat safe just with a few lines and bumpers. The community boat launch can be seen from the back deck and makes launch and loading easy as can be.

One of the coolest places to stay on the lake

I’ve been going to Norris for 20 years. Sadly, we lost our house during Covid and this was the first time we were back for my husband’s bday. This house, the location, and the dock was everything and more. I can’t get over the breathtaking views from the deck and the awesoke kitchen. The communication was consistent too! Overall 1000/10

What a wonderful experience

From the moment we booked, the property manager started communicating with us. The house was spectacular and everything we had hoped for. The 2 docks were great for the boats we rented. The rooms all had views except for one that had four beds. The kitchen was huge and had everything we needed! Even 3 ovens Wow. We are coming back for sure.
