"Faith, Family & Friends" at Norris Lake

Faith, Family & Friends are best enjoyed when they are all on the banks of beautiful Norris Lake. Being at the Faith, Family & Friends home, you will enjoy a spacious floor plan in a beautiful lakefront setting and a private dock with a slide. With 9 bedrooms, 5 full baths, and 2 half baths, our Faith, Family & Friends home is designed especially to help you enjoy your Faith, your Family and your Friends. It sleep 24 comfortably, making this home perfect for extended family vacations, multiple family gatherings, or special events. Highlighted by vaulted ceilings on the main level, 2 kitchens, 3 family rooms, and 3 decks, this home offers such a wonderful vacation spot that you will want to bring your Faith, Family and Friends back again and again.
We no longer allow pets at this property.

Main Floor

The main level of Faith, Family & Friends offers a spacious kitchen, a pantry, a large dining room table, a half-bath, and a family room featuring a fireplace and a 50" flat screen TV with a DVD player. There is a large deck on this level with 2 grills, and the entire space offers spectacular views of the lake. The master bedroom features a king bed, a full master private ensuite, and a TV. And there is also a covered front porch with rocking chairs.

Second Floor

The upper level features 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed. There is a jack-n-jill full bathroom between the bedrooms, but each bedroom also has a private sink and mirror.

Third Floor

The Upper level contains 2 sets of twin bunk beds and a half bath. It is perfect for tweens and teenagers and their friends.

The Lower Level

Faith, Family & Friends lower level is an amazing retreat all by itself. It has a kitchenette with a full sized refrigerator and stove. The second family room has a very large, comfy sectional, another 50" flat screen and DVD player, and a pool table with a ping pong topper, as well as a dartboard. This level also has 2 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom. Each bedroom has a king bed and each with a TV. Another amazing deck is attached to this level offering multiple tables and chairs as well as 2 swings to enjoy the lake with a cup of coffee, a good book, or your favorite grilled meal.

Walkout Level

The walkout level features 3 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and lake view, one with 4 twin beds, and one with a double bed plus 1 set of twin beds. It also features a family room with a lake view and with a 32" flat screen TV. The laundry room with a washer and dryer is also on this level, and the covered deck on this walkout level provides access to the lake and the hot tub as well as more tables and chairs.

Amenities

The outside of the home features direct lake access as well as a private, double-decker dock with a slide. There is a firepit with chairs and a set of Corn Hole tables. The dock provides room for 3 boats with one of the boatslips being covered. The upper deck features 3 sets of tables and chairs so that lots of family and friends can enjoy the lake and the sun.

Jacobs Family Vacation

We booked this property to get our family together in the summer. We had a great week. Things we liked: It was deep in a cove. The boat traffic was light which made it a great place to swim. We had 20 people there and had plenty of room. The dock is nice. Things we didn’t like. The driveway is very steep and not depicted well in the pictures. Sugar Hollow’s boat ramp is rough and narrow. I would consider launching elsewhere. The community pool is dirty enough that my niece chose the lake over it. Don’t let the pool be a selling point.

Lake House Oasis!

My family of 18 people stayed and there was plenty of room for everyone! It truly felt like home and the view of the water was amazing! Most of my family stays in the city and was very weary driving in that it was too rural. But the moment everyone pulled it they were surprised! My family doesn't even want to do the beach for our next trip, they want to book another Lake House. I would highly recommend booking the boats, jet ski etc in advance. We did notice most other homes near us provided water toys for their guests. There was one kayak and I think traveling there should be somethings. If the owner is worried about damage to them I would charge a deposit. But, overall this was so relaxing, we eneded up swimming most of the time, please bring your own life vests and we played games.

Bachelorette Weekend

Ride your harse to Narse

Another family annual trek to "Narse" lake, in the books. Great place to let the entire family enjoy a week with no hassles except is it time to fish, swim, boat eat nap or play board games. Absolutely love the lake and Friends Family and Faith.

Definitely not disappointed at all

I cannot say anything bad at all, great communication with both the host and property management. Very family friendly and accommodating for big groups. Pictures of the house and rooms are as advertised. Very clean and and spacious. Fully stocked kitchen along with two gassed bbq grills. Every board game you can think of along with pool table darts and cards. Check in and out was a breeze and I loved the decor and vibe of the whole house.

Amazing !

I stayed here for my 30th birthday and it was nothing short of AMAZING! The pictures does this place no justice. There was a total of 7 adults and everyone had their own room, the pool table and fire pit was our favorite places of all. Since there is not much around the area, we barely left the house except for activities. Cons: the dock was broken so we could not enjoy that. The WiFi password was a bit hard to figure out because it’s not the way it appears on the fridge and we could not get in touch with the manager all weekend. The house owner was very prompt to respond tho so that didn’t bother us much. Lastly, you would want to arrive in the day time because there is no light in that area and the signs are very little. Other than those minor things I definitely can’t wait to come back to this house!

Family vacation

Plenty of space and comfortable; in a quiet cove but still close to the marina. Kitchen was well stocked but a little small for the number of people. There were beautiful views and the dock/slide was fun but some boards on the dock should probably be replaced. We enjoyed our stay. A good value.

Wonderful get away from it all vacation

Four hours from Cincinnati. Easy to get to. Food Lion close by. House clean, comfy, and decorated with encouraging wall decor. 17 people stayed. Plumbing wonderful: lots of pressure lots of hot water. Loved the washing machine. Grill was easy to use. (No grilling tools). Hot tub clean and hot. Fridge, microwave, stove, oven all worked well. No microwave in the 2nd kitchen. Pool and ping pong table all good. Tv, internet and wifi all worked. Phone could be spotty. Jumping and sliding off the dock. (No life vests or floaties). Kayaked to the Jumping Bridge. Hiking to a near by waterfall. Springs Dock Marina has great jet ski and party boat rental. Mt. McCloud restaurant was a wonderful place to celebrate his 22nd birthday.

Annual Friends Getaway

Faith Family Friends lived up to its name! We had a group of 12 old colleges friends that met for a long weekend. The house was exactly as described. The kitchen was small but exceptionally well equipped. Can’t think of anything we needed but didn’t have! All of our questions were answered promptly and effficiently. We enjoyed our stay at Lake Norris!!!

Cove was fantastic

Great location in the cove. Checking in/out was a breeze. The property manager (Jon) was very quick to respond and always helpful. The entertainment area was lacking. The kids utilize the pool table area, but the pool table/accessories were not in good condition at all and the dart board did not even work. The dining area space was a bit tight for a large party. Overall nice.

Spacious

The home is spacious and accommodating for large groups. It was very clean upon arrival. Our only complaint would be lack of water toys (paddle boards, canoes, life jackets, floats, etc.) as it is difficult to travel with those items. The corn hole boards and outdoor furniture were outdated, and the property landscape was overgrown near fire pit, but still accessible and usable. Having two grills next to each other was also very accommodating for our large group during meal times. Overall, our group would return to Faith, Family, and Friends.

Summer at lake

Great house, plenty of space. Plenty to do inside/already there during rainy days. Download google offline map, GPS signal runs out at end. Rent your boat early/as soon as you book the house. Good short hikes close by (20-30 minute drive) Will plan another trip soon!

Nice and large

This place is really nice, tons of great space. Nice location in the lake, like being in a court on the lake. No traffic near your dock so makes floating nice. Lots of stairs but they all have them. One king bed was on a queen mattress which I informed the owners. We had a great time!

Beautiful property with lots of room

Truly a spacious and well maintained property. However, if you need to stay in touch with the outside world be prepared to struggle. The dock and location on the lake is outstanding. However, be prepared to provide your own equipment to enjoy the dock and lake or be familiar with how the process of renting it goes. Would definitely stay at this property again.
