Enjoy a family vacation in our newly renovated lakefront home. Large wooded lot on quiet cove with year round water perfect for swimming, floating and fishing. Brand new contemporary kitchen all new stainless steel appliances. Screened in porch with beautiful lake view and flat screen TV is a perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee and relax the end of the day. Enjoy grilling on the deck with a gas grill. Don't miss the fun of our private enclosed outdoor shower, it is the perfect way to freshen up after a long day on the lake or after a morning workout before heading out on the boat. Bedroom 1 - queen bed; bedroom 2- queen bed; bedroom 3- one bunk bed twin over twin and one bunk bed twin over full. Two story family room with fireplace all new furniture and 60" flatscreen smart TV. Outdoor deck with glass railing for unobstructed lake views on a large lot in a quiet cove in Deerfield Resort. Private single slip covered dock with composite decking and new in 2019 concrete steps to the water's edge. Plenty of space to park your boat trailer on driveway. Enjoy all the amenities of Deerfield Resort including golf course, community pool, tennis courts, sand volleyball, playground even a private airstrip.

The house is very cozy. We enjoyed the screened in porch to be able to sit outside without bugs. We did use the fire pit two nights and made s’mores. I would agree with other reviews though. If you have mobility issues, there are a lot of steps down to the dock. The location of the dock is perfect. It’s a very quiet cove, and the kids swam every evening after boating all day. The Wi-Fi and cell service is spotty so this may not be a good place if you have to connect but for our family that was part of the fun. The Owner response was very quick and Steve provided us with a lot of helpful information about where to put in our boat, etc.Thank you for sharing your cozy home.

Relaxing holiday weekend

We had a wonderful stay. Plenty of room for our family. Great, quiet cove for swimming and relaxing as well as bringing a boat. The screen porch was a great place to be when we weren't in the water. We enjoyed our stay.

Unfortunate

PROS-on the lake, dock is nice and cove where the house is located is great. Kitchen has great appliances. CONS-First time EVER that I never heard from the host at a VRBO location, and we have stayed in plenty. I never heard from them before, during, nor after. Even to say, here is the code to enter, we hope you enjoy. The house was dirty when we arrived. Coffee still in the pot, water in the refrigerator draws, floor was filthy throughout. Prior vacationers' hair in the showers/sinks upon arrival. 151 steps to the water. This is simply a CON for our family and maybe no issue for anyone else. We have stayed in TN for many years in different VRBO homes and these steps were by far the hardest to maneuver. The comforters, we did not use one of them. There were stains on every single one of them. We are not the type of family to complain, so the host will not hear from us directly. This post to simply let others know some of the details before spending money towards the rental, and to bring your cleaning supplies. Lastly, this is the first post I ever left with negative results, and it makes me feel horrible in doing so.

Great house

The house was perfect for us . 4 adults and 5 kids, ranging from 9-15 years of age. There where A LOT of steps!! Fortunately there was breaks in the stairs to catch your breath . We expected stairs just not that many . The internet was virtually nonexistent, which was GREAT to disconnect but bad for communicating with friends to meet up on the lake. Overall we had a Great time .

Everything was as advertised. Clean with good access to the lake and a nice dock. Enjoyed boating over a beautiful weekend. Not far from 2 marinas and the jumping bridge. Had a very enjoyable time.

Excellent Property & Location

The house exactly as it was listed and is in a fantastic location. You can tell the house has been updated and taken care of. The driveway was perfect as it had ample room to part trailers and vehicles. Some of the steps leading to the dock need some TLC but otherwise the dock is perfect. We saw numerous deer and the location was perfect to access all parts of the lake. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. The owner was excellent at communicating as well which is always a plus! Thanks for a great extended weekend.

The location was great and the dock had an amazing view. Nice Winery less than a mile away. Lots of deer. Regarding the house, the AC could not keep up. The whole house felt damp and smelled musty, The upstairs bathroom had a moldy ceiling that dripped water on the toilet and floor. All 5 of us used the downstairs bathroom. Really unusable.

The house is great, love using the dock and the location on the lake is perfect. There is a condensation issue in upstairs bathroom on ceiling fan that creates a musty smell. No other issues, I would definitely come back.
