Puamana 254-1 is a beautifully remodeled oceanfront 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath townhome with an exceptional corner location on the sunny south shore of Puamana that wasn’t harmed by the Lahaina fire. The coconut tree-filled lawn adds to the tropical charm of this magical oceanfront setting. 254-1’s open floor plan offers a seamless indoor and outdoor living blend to enjoy the panoramic ocean views from the kitchen, living room, and lanai. Enjoy spectacular sunsets, surfers rolling in on the waves, turtles, whale watching in season, and beautiful ever-changing ocean blues. The home's spacious, fully stocked kitchen is a masterpiece of design, featuring luxurious quartz countertops, a garden-view bay window, and top-quality appliances.

The upstairs primary bedroom enjoys an ensuite bathroom, king bed, direct oceanfront views, and a spacious sunning and star-gazing deck. The two guest bedrooms provide majestic views of the West Maui Mountains, one with a king and the second with two twin beds, offering expansive windows inviting the island breezes and tropical views into every corner of the space.

The lanai features an outdoor shower and gas grill perfect for a BBQ with family or friends, dining, or just kicking back and relaxing. Please note: Several buildings on the northern side of Puamana’s oceanfront community were impacted by the Lahaina fires of 2023. Fortunately, this property and the entire southern side of Puamana were unharmed; however, cleared parcels will be visible as you drive down the highway and first enter Puamana. We’re also pleased to report that two grocery store complexes in Lahaina—Safeway and Foodland Farms—as well as Maui's renowned Hula show, the Old Lahaina Luau, and four excellent Lahaina restaurants—Ocean Tavern, Mala, Aloha Mixed Plate, and Star Noodle—were not affected and are all less than a ten-minute drive away.

At Puamana, you can unwind in your tropical sanctuary away from the high rises while remaining just a short distance from the thrills of world-class golf, distinctive shopping, ocean activities, and exceptional dining experiences. The resort amenities of Kaanapali and Kapalua are also easily accessible. Disappointing

Two days prior to our arrival, the host emailed us to inform us that the AC unit was not working. They gave us the option of cancelling, but it was spring break, and likely there were no other options of finding somewhere else to stay. They told us the AC would be working by Monday. We opted to keep our reservation. The AC was not fixed until Wednesday, and we had these portable units in just the bedrooms, which were really inconvenient as the exhaust was piped through the windows and patio doors of our master bedroom so we couldn’t really use the upstairs lanai - which is one of the reasons I chose this unit. Very disappointing. When the HVAC contractor came to fix he told me he didn’t think these AC units had been working for “quite some time” so I felt like we were lied to and the property manager/owner had known about the issue way prior to our arrival. The unit itself is absolutely beautiful and I loved the open floor plan of the kitchen and living room. FYI there is not direct beach access as it looks. You have to walk down about a block in order to access the beach which was also disappointing. The pool was about 3 blocks from the rental. Quite the walk with all your items and a 10 month old baby and 2 kids.On Wednesday, there was some construction going on and without warning, our water was shut off at 8am. Apparently they had a planned outage but didn’t notify anyone of this until about 9:30. Very difficult when you have small children.

Time in paradise

The unit was great, well appointed and supplied. The property was well maintained. We didn't get in until after the office closed and we received a warning on our vehicle about registering. When we registered we were reprimanded for not checking in the night before. Also received a notice not to use the car remote to lock the car because it made a beep. Just a little overcontrolling. Overall a great trip.

This was a lovely property and an excellent location. The unit was very clean and was perfect for our family of six. The view from the lanai was absolutely beautiful and having a walkout to the ocean was exactly what we wanted and what was depicted in the photos. The property is quiet and very relaxing. We loved that it was walking distance to Lahaina. We would definitely stay at this property and at this unit again. Our family had an amazing vacation! …. Relaxing Space

Our family of 5 enjoyed the unit a great deal. The multiple bedrooms allowed us to have our own space to relax. We enjoyed having a well-appointed kitchen to prepare meals while we took in the beautiful view. It is a quiet property and if you are looking to get away from the resort it is a nice change.

You Can’t Get Closer to the Ocean

This was a wonderful location. The ocean was right outside our door. The common areas were clean and spacious and the primary bedroom was perfect. People (and the chickens) in the area were so friendly. We had a small issue during our stay but it was resolved to our satisfaction. When on Maui, we will definitely book this listing again.

Sleeping to the crashing waves was such a bonus. The home offered everything we needed to relax in Maui and was a stone's throw from town. Next time we are renting paddle boards because this location is ideal for them.

Great views, beautiful unit

This condo was perfect for our family of 4. The toddler and baby could crawl around on the lawn while we enjoyed the beautiful oceanfront view. The upstairs, with the three bedrooms, was quaint and comfortable. Master bedroom had a great deck and we fell asleep to the sounds of the ocean every night. The only inconvenience is that there is no beach access directly in front of the condo and the community requires you to walk ~10 minutes down the lasn to enter and walk back to the beach in front of the unit. Other than the beach access, it was a perfect stay.

Our family had an amazing time in Maui and the property was the icing on the cake. From the beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the patio and master bedroom balcony to the general comforts of the home, we found our stay to be both seamless and pleasant. Beautiful property - the best beach location.

This property is literally 20 yards from the ocean. The living room has a glass/screen door that allows you to open up the whole wall to the ocean. One bedroom on the second floor also has a deck to get even greater views. The community has a private beach with mostly sand and three pools. You can also easily walk to downtown Lahaina about a mile away. The perfect place to stay for four adults and an 11 year old. The pictures do not do this condo justice - it's fantastic!

Stunning View

It doesn’t get any better than this beautiful beach front property. It was such a treat to look out over the stunning view of the ocean and watch the beautiful Maui sunsets each evening. The location is perfect for traveling to many different island activities (snorkeling, parasailing, zip lining, etc.) which our family took full advantage of. Even if you plan to stay close to home, the property has three pools, tennis courts, and easy access to the ocean right in front of your house. We highly recommend this location to anyone looking forward a private, quiet retreat with an amazing view. We even enjoyed seeing the wild rosters and hens with their tiny chicks freely roaming the property and paying us a visit on our patio!

True 5 Star!

I can't say enough about how this place made for amazing memories! The oceanside location provided a beautiful view all day long and easy access to the practically private beach was a bonus. The well stocked kitchen combined with a trip to Costco made breakfast and dinner on the lanai so enjoyable! The bedrooms were very comfortable; especially the master suite with balcony. The spectacular sunsets were icing on the cake.

Overall rental process was perfect! We always use VRBO for everything and this did not disappoint! This house was everything and more! Great location and very clean! I highly recommend this house. Minutes from the town and perfect for family visitors!

Great place to stay

We stayed in the property from January 18th through the 24th. This condo is everything that it claims and more. It had all the amenities that we needed and we were able to sit on the lanai and watch the whales swim by all day long. It's in a beautiful gated community and about 3 minutes to downtown Lahaina and Front street. Very comfortable for up to 6 people..
