My wife and I have always enjoyed our stays here at the Mulberry. We had a room with the full kitchenette this time. The problem was that there is no water pressure from the shower. We mean none. The water trickles out of the shower head. It has to be turned all the way up (totally hot) to have enough water flowing out of the head. No spraying pressure at all. We spoke to them about it the next morning and was told it is a known issue of theirs and it works properly sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. No room change available. The next morning (check-out) we spoke to the other front desk clerk and was told yea we have no shower pressure in room 214 and 215 (ours). These rooms have no shower pressure AT ALL!!! There is no way that these rooms should be in order. I filmed it and showed them. This is a shower only room so no option to use a tub with a nice amount of water, which is fine but we had no pressure to shower. I have worked maintenance (HVAC) at the Holiday Inn years ago. I'm just stating that I know that if the pressure in the shower is like that, then it is listed as down pending maintenance. I feel that it is a shame for them to know of this issue and still sell the room knowing a person can not take a regular shower. Being offered $16 off was a true slap in the face. Totally not expected from this hotel.

I’ve stayed here many times during my visit to Westlake. This hotel is always clean, smells fresh and has great people working the front desk. It’s also very quiet and the beds are extremely comfortable!

The commode seat was broken and we reported that. I believe I was then charged $25 for something we didn’t break. We noticed that the fixtures were rusted and that the seat was glued to attach…obviously that didn’t work.

Everything was great, except we did get charged an additional $12 fee when we arrived, I thought that was strange since I had already paid in full on the Expedia website. We also got 2 phone calls at 3am. Which were really loud and disturbed our sleep.
