GROSS, GROSS, GROSS!! It was disgusting. The first room had puke on the carpet by the bed that stunk really bad. New room not much better but no vomit!!! Sheets are worn and stained. Carpets are disgusting. Smoking areas are right by ALL the doors so first you have to walk past all the smokers, but then the entire first floor smells like cigarettes!!! Pet area is really bad joke!!!! It was in the bushes, where on the other side of a fence the homeless people camp in their cars!!! Of course the other homeless people are guests at hotel .NO, JUST NO DO NOT STAY HERE! In fact skip Lake City all together!! Scarey nasty town that at a glance looks extremely dangerous!! Worst La Quinta stay ever!!! I doubt I'll ever stay at another after this.

There was broken furniture in the bathroom, the shower bottom was dirty, and the bathroom tile and wallpaper was worn and torn. Those were my only negatives. The room was nicely designed for my needs and the bed was very comfortable.

I prefer to make my reservations directly with the hotel, but these numbers are hard to reach, I find you reservation system to be difficult to use, hard to understand and cumbersome.

Manager and frontdesk were nice. Room was okay. Would be better if Dog fee was a bit low charge specially regular guest. Would be better if pool was open. And would be nice if there is changes of menu every day. And encourage guest to pick up doog poops as well.

Smoke detector lit up all night long

The bed was comfortable, the room updated and clean. My biggest issue was that the smoke detector lit up all night long (every 2-8 seconds) and all I got when I checked out was 'Sorry about that. I will put a note in to have the battery changed.' The bathroom door is so heavy it SLAMS everytime you let go of the door. The lighting in the room was romantic, so if you want to see what is in your suitcase at night, you have to take it into the bathroom. No waste basket in the bathroom. They did have a fully functional microwave and refrigerator. I guess there was a lot I found annoying.

Very clean!!!! Great customer service! Definitely recommend if you're looking around here. You get what you pay for.... Breath of fresh air there weren't any bed bugs like a lot of the other hotels/motels in lake city!

Nice hotel

Couldn't sleep because the lights from the parking lot lit up our room like it was daylight outside. They need blackout curtains on the windows. The mini fridge wasn't working right. I had to throw away some milk and pastries because they didn't get cold. Other than that everything else was fine. The breakfast was great. And check- in and checking out was a breeze. It is a very nice hotel and I will probably check on those things before I settle in to make sure it all works.
