The room was great. Very comfortable bed, the gas fireplace was a nice touch, and the Jacuzzi tub was fantastic after a day of snowboarding. I would definitely recommend a stay here, especially if you want to be away from the world for a while. Cell and wifi is almost non-existent, so you truly will be disconnected, which I enjoyed.
Two things that were a negative. First, the walls are rather thin, I could hear quite a bit from neighboring properties, not just rooms, but the cabins as well. Second, and much more inconvenient l, the parking lot was a slush pit with some fairly deep standing water, about ankle high, but likely higher in places if you didn't watch your step. Overall, I don't think it's a deal breaker, but come prepared for that in the winter months closer to spring. I imagine it might get icy given the condition I experienced.
Again, I think this is a great location, but just some things to be mindful about. Also, the distance to Lake Louise is awesome, just a short 15 minute ride, certainly can't be beat.
