Welcome to "Forest Way" located behind the gates of the beautiful Rumbling Bald at Lake Lure. Newly remodeled in 2022 with the comfort of our guests in mind. The house boasts a beautiful year-round view of Rumbling Bald Mountain, two outdoor spaces with a firepit. You can walk to the lake and family fun amenities or jump in the car for a very quick drive. Forest Way is one-half mile from driveway to the lake. Resort Passes included for up to 12 adults. There are no add on charges to run up the price of your stay.

• Kitchen with eat-in dining area. Refrigerator, Stove, Oven, Dishwasher and Mini-Fridge. Blender, crock-pot; Calphalon cookware; full spectrum of food prep and cooking utensils. Kitchen table and bar seating. Sliding door access to back yard deck. Adjoins nicely with Dining Room for total seating for twelve or more adults.
• Spacious Living area with 65” Smart with Direct TV above the large stone, wood-burning fireplace.
• Wet-bar and furnishings where you can make your family’s favorite frozen beverage or simply pop the cork of your preferred wine label.
• Laundry Closet with Washer/Dryer/Iron and basic supplies needed for your laundry.
Upper Floor Features:

• 5th Bedroom with two Full-sized orthopedic mattresses located inside A-Frame structure which is sure to be a favorite for younger guests. There is also a 40” wall mounted smart TV for streaming or pack your console for some good game play.

• Small Desk with lamp for laptop work or play.

• Comfy, Cozy Sofa and Loveseat and 2 swivel chairs that allow you to watch TV or be a spectator of championship foosball game being played on new 55” Kick Legend Table.

• Back corner nook which houses a Queen Size platform bed.

• Covered laptform deck located just outside the Lower Level family room. This provides for all weather use both day and night. This covered outdoor seating is a great place to relax and comfortable seating with a view of the firepit at night.

Flat, off-road parking is available in abundance in front of the house and in the main driveway.
There are Five big screen smart TVs with a mesh Wi-Fi for whole house internet access. If you need to be online for work or play during your stay, we make that possible with this high level of Internet/Cable/Phone technology.

NOTE: Holidays require a 4 night stay: New Years Eve, Easter, Memorial Day, Labor Day , and Christmas. Check your booking if you are staying over a holiday.

There are market value resort fees for boat rental and Golf Course Reservations and nominal fees for Putt-Putt and sports equipment rental. ***You agree to the following Indemnification and Hold Harmless Policy stipulations upon booking:***

– Guest and their other house occupants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Owner for any liabilities, damage, cost or expense whatsoever arising from or related to any claim in connection with your use and/or occupancy of the Vacation Rental, including, but not limited to, any claim or liability for personal injury, damage, loss of personal belongings or theft of property which is made, incurred or sustained by you and/or anyone you invite to use the Vacation Rental as your guest. You stay and play at your own risk. Guests and their other house occupants agree to exercise caution in the pool and pool area, on the deck areas, and stairways. All furnishings and equipment provided are maintained to the best of our ability but since Owner has no control over what guests do or how things are used, Owner cannot guarantee functionality or safety. It is the responsibility of the guest(s) to take caution before using anything and to immediately notify the Owner if an item is not functioning properly or appears to be unsafe. Non-functioning amenities will be repaired as soon as reasonably possible therefore there is no refund promised.

Arbitration -All claims or disputes between the Guest and the Owner arising out of or relating to the Contract Agreements shall be decided by arbitration in accordance with the Construction Industry Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association currently in effect unless the parties mutually agree otherwise. The award rendered by the arbitrator or arbitrators shall be final, and judgment may be entered upon it in accordance with applicable law in any court having jurisdiction thereof. If the Owner prevails the Guest shall be liable to the Owner for attorney’s fees and costs incurred by the Owner.
