Privately situated beautiful log cabin nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains surrounded by mountain views and winter lake views. Access to private beach, lakes, river and waterfall- 10 minute walk away or parking available at our beach. Cabin has a large, fully enclosed wrap around deck as well as a fenced in yard perfect for little ones or dogs, along with a firepit for cool mountain evenings.
The cabin is privately located inside the gates of Riverbend, a private mountain community featuring two lakes, riverwalk, waterfall and the Old Swimming Hole. Riverbends' private beach at Mirror Lake has a fishing pier, a large pavilion overlooking the lake with rocking chairs, barbeque pits and beautiful mountain views (bathrooms also). Walk across the road from the beach to the Broad River ( with a waterfall and small rapids (perfect for tubing!). Enjoy fishing from the pier, swimming in the lake or playing in the river!
Lake Lure in western North Carolina has much to do! Lake Lure beach offers the Lake with a beautiful beach surrounded by spectacular views of the mountains , a childrens' play area, kids water slide and lifeguards on duty .There are a number of golf courses in area and also putt putt, tennis, horseback riding, a gem mine, hiking at Chimney Rock Park , zip lining, lakeside and riverside dining, white water rafting and much more. Nearby attractions include Asheville/ Biltmore Estate, Blue Ridge Mountains , Hendersonville, wineries, Dollywood, Great Smokey National Park, Grandfather Mountain, Sliding Rock, North Carolina Arbortum and so much more, Also, newly built Tryon International Horse Equestrian Center (TIEC) is 15 miles away.

Very nice location in a gated community. The cabin was well stocked with many things we needed including sticks for roasting marshmallows. Our dog loved the fenced in area with turf grass as well . Great views , and the house was very cozy and private. The wrap around porch was my favorite part !

Beautiful neighborhood and home! We enjoyed the beach area with our children. It was very peaceful and quiet. The home was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. Communication with owners was great and location was convenient! Highly recommend.

Not a great experience

I would not choose this place again. Cleaners showed up an hour after check in, then left a bunch of garbage outside for animals to get into. Instructions were clear as mud. Didnt know we had gate passes till the last day. They tell you to call these numbers after 6 to get past the gate. Nobody answers. The house itself is ok...no view of anything except trees. All of the doors are noisy. Front screen door slams if you arent careful, and the toilet seat is loose, possibly broken. The drive up to the house is super sketchy, and the house is very far away from water.Nobody answers the phone. Simp

Great Cabin

This property is great! The location feels remote, but you are less than 10 minutes to grocery store and restaurants. The 2 lakes in Riverbend are beautiful. The house is fully stocke with very comfortable beds. The place is very, very clean. Awesome stay!!

A must!!

Literally loved everything about this cabin! It’s a perfect scenery, a beautiful drive and has everything you need is in the cabin. Very happy with our pick and would love to come back very soon. Literally felt like we were right at home!

Beautiful cabin! Very nicely done and clean. Hosts were super responsive, it’s a bit on the smaller side for a family but perfect for a couple. We saw a black bear from the back porch! We loved it :)

Cabin was ok, the owner was not

The cabin was ok. Were I to go back, I'd book a cabin right on the lake, but not from the same owner. I booked the cabin for 6 nights in April. Soon after booking, I messaged the owner asking if I could book an additional night on the front end. The night was open when I looked online. She said I could and sent me the link to pay for it, which I did. Two days before our trip, I got confirmation showing only the 6 nights. When I messaged the owner, she apologized and said that night had already been booked and she would refund me for the night. There was no offer of anything else even though I had to scramble to find another place for one night while having a dog and kids. When I pushed back, she offered me a free night at the end of my trip (which was interesting because when I looked online, that night was already booked). We could not stay the extra night because of work obligations. I found a place near Chimney Rock (the "Sunflower Cottage") for one night. When I asked the cabin owner if she'd be willing to refund me back the $125 difference in price for the night or discount my stay for my inconvenience, she told me no. If I were an owner, I would not have hesitated to do that. It was an inconvenience to have to stay in one spot, leave at 10, and then have to wait until 4 (when I asked for an early check-in, she again said no). She could not have cared less about her mistake and her guests. I will not be staying at any of her cabins again in the future.

Last minute "Mini-Moon"

My new bride and I stayed here for a few days right after getting married. Very pleased with the amenities and privacy of this neighborhood. The cabin space and yard was perfect for our needs. We did not get to meet the owners, but it is obvious that they take pride in the upkeep of their vacation rental. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends! :)

Beautiful cabin

Great location inside a private neighborhood, residents are so nice - always waving to each other when on the roads and on the trails. Host communicated great and the trip was made better because we were able to bring our dog with us - loved everything about the location!
