"Great value. Good location and probably the best option available in the Scarborough area. The Keg restaurant practically next door, short 4-5 minute walk. Regular public transit busses about 6 minute walk. Way to get to various areas nearby. Using public transit is an easy trip to and from downtown Toronto. Can take an hour to an hour and a half each way. Scarborough Town Centre and Cederbrae Centre are nearby. The hotel is fairly recently renovated and mostly in good shape. Staff are friendly and helpful. Included breakfast is good. Baked goods are the standout item. When downtown hotels are $400-$500 per night during certain events, this is a great option. We paid $53 for Uber from Pearson Airport on a Saturday evening. "

"Far superior breakfast buffet. Decent coffee all day long. Water and cups in lobby. Amazing and polite staff, especially the lady I dealt with at reception during a very late check-in of 1am. She even gave us yogurt, muffins and a banana because she assumed we didn’t have supper on our flights over (which we didn’t, just a tiny bag of pretzels). Just great vibes all around. It was noisy though, the large windows are great for light but not so good at keeping sound out. Outside the hotel is another story, a little dirty, and quite a few people who seem to be hurting, but that’s Oshawa for you."
