The hotel is exquisite and absolutely beautifully renovated. It is great being able to use the alpine sports centre across the street which connects through a skywalk. The views were amazing of surrounding landscapes and waterfalls. The staff were incredibly courteous and nothing was an issue, amoungst the best I have encountered. It would have been nice to have a door between rooms in the suites when sharing with children though as an improvement. Do also be aware that one must take a gondola to get to the hotel and there is no direct parking, however the team will guide you well if need help.

This is one of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed at. Nestled between the Swiss Alps, this hotel strikes a balance between modern luxury and the charm of a mountain town chalet. The property was stunning with beautiful decor that feels high-end and boutique, and the staff are all so warm and accommodating. Every detail felt thoughtful and intention, and made our stay one to remember. I hope to return to Murren just so we can stay here again!

You will feel like a prince[ss]!

We stayed in the new building. We were amazed by the 6 balconies, amazing spa (3 saunas and cold plunge), and beautiful architecture. Our room looked brand new. Slippers and robes are provided. A variety of tea, nuts, and dried fruit is always available. The complementary breakfast is fantastic. You also get to use the Alpine Sports facility next door for free as part of your stay at the palace. The hotel is 2 minutes walk from the tram station. Gimmelwald is a lovely 30 minute walk downhill and you can take the gondola back up to Mürren if you don't feel like walking uphill. Murren is a quiet carless city. It offers much more peace than Lauterbrunnen.

You will not find a more exceptional hotel in the Lauterbrunnen Valley. The Palace is stunning, with 360 degree breathtaking views in every direction. Many rooms have balconies of these stunning views. The staff is wonderful and the amenities are excellent. Both their restaurant and bar are excellent, and the rooms are clean and updated. The town itself and walk down to Gimmelwald is so enchanting that we were constantly in a state of awe!! Small grocery store and all you need are in Mürren, along with extremely efficient cable car service.

Perfect place to stay in Murren

Hotel Murren was without a doubt the best hotel experience my wife and I have ever encountered. We booked the Senior Lux Suite with the hot tub and couldn't be happier. The manager came and picked us and our luggage up at the train station prior to realizing how close it was to the BLM Station. The room has 5 balconies, a kitchen and a terrific design. Bar and wait staff were kind and efficient and never heard another guest. If you're in Murren and want perfection please stay at this hotel and book this room. 10/10 stars.

Newly renovated property with very comfortable beds and spacious well stocked dining room and breakfast buffet. The terrace has an amazing view and is open until 9 PM. The hotel and town are very family friendly.
