The location was great and the property was perfect for a large family group. It is a 2 minute walk to a nearby market and a twenty minute walk to Versailles. We were also a five minute walk to the bus which has only three stops to get you to the train station. This property had everything we needed, comfy beds, a large dining table for family to eat together and a private yard for our young kids to play in. The yard was beautifully landscaped and a great place to relax and have a drink with the adults. We couldnât be more pleased with this property and our host, Michelle. We absolutely loved this house!
From the check-in to the farewell, this was a dream stay. This house provided space, kitchen equipment, and bathrooms sufficient for our grip of 17. The beauty of the home and garden kept us very happy. Absolutely perfect stay.
We had a wonderful week in this house in Versailles. We stayed with 3 families (13 people) in the spacious house with a great garden. We're thinking about coming back here. We liked it very much.
We had high hope for a our stay here, the listing looked as it was pictured and it was close to our event we planned to attend. I had messaged the host for an early check in and they were accommodating for that, but any communication after that was slow and unhelpful. The biggest complaint I have about our stay is. One of the three showers flooded and upon letting them know was told to remove the grate myself with a knife. This is something that should have been checked before our arrival. Loosing a shower with a party of 15 caused us to be delayed in the morning for scheduled tours and events to the point of guests having to miss. They also did not provide enough towels for our guests and we could not find more on the property. We also had to buy our own toilet paper when the listing clearly states it is provided. The laundry room had evidence of cockroaches. I get that this can be apart of old houses. But to leave dead baby cockroaches in plain site is bad. When I contacted the host for a request for compensation they only returned 100 euros. Not enough to cover the delay in schedules and guests missing parts of our itinerary due to being down a promised shower.
