Real Mountain Cabin with access to Fish Lake
This small cabin has the true charm of a cozy cabin in the woods. It is perfect for 2 adults.
A sleeping loft with a queen bed is up a steep set of stairs so please be prepared and look at our photo of the staircase. A pack-n-play is available upon request.
Winter info: 4 wheel or all wheel drive vehicle is required for the driveway in the winter months. The county road is plowed out front and we maintain the driveway. It is not a really steep or long driveway but near the top it requires the extra help of a 4 wheel/all wheel drive vehicle. We are not responsible for guests not being able to make it over the pass in snowy conditions, therefore, refunds for weather conditions will only be offered if both Stevens Pass and Snoqualmie Pass are closed and/or it is too dangerous to travel, as determined by the WSDOT.
Stevens Pass is 30 minutes away and Leavenworth is 25 minutes away.
Come stay, play and relax. If you do chances are you'll be back soon...
This is our second time here and we'll definitely be back for a third! Lake access is just a short walk down the hill and perfect for relaxing and fishing from the dock. Tons of outdoor space great for grilling and lounging in the sun. Jane is a fantastic host and super responsive. Thanks for another lovely Leavenworth trip!
This is an absolutely perfect cabin in the woods get away about 30 minutes outside of Leavenworth! If youâre looking to do things like snowmobiling or skiing, this is your stop! Communication with host was easy and let us know about the area as needed
We had a fantastic time at the cabin. Itâs perfect for a couples getaway. Jane was great and quickly responded to messages prior to our arrival. We plan to return in the future.
What a wonderful experience we had staying in this cozy cabin located in a nice neighborhood with partial lake view. Close enough to Leavenworth activities and Lake Wenatchee State Park. Thoughtful communicative host with attention to detail. Upon arrival cabin was already warm and host had placed water bowl and food bowl out for our pets. Would recommend cabin to family and friends. Cabin was well equipped with full kitchen set up including K cup coffee machine, wood for fireplace, and blankets for both people and pets.
Remote cabin get away. Keurig coffee & firewood provided. Puzzles, games, dvds & tv with internet channels & options. Glad we took the Jeep for the snow & ice. Leavenworth beautiful in the holiday season!
The cabin was close to the lake for easy access for fishing. It was also just a short drive to Leavenworth. The only thing to mention was that if you are at all mobility impaired, it's probably not the place for you. There are very steep stairs up to the bed. Otherwise it was great for what we needed.
this place is great! it's like a home away from home. jane, thank you so much for the note and goodies and for being so accommodating! you are the best! â€ïž
Wanted a place away from the crowds of Leavenworth and the cabin is the perfect place for that! The cabin was clean, cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. Neighborhood is quiet and a great place for walks
A comfortable cabin for two surrounded by trees and a little view of Fish Lake. Enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to the wind in the trees. Easy to find and very quiet. Most enjoyable!
Husband and dog stayed in cabin because we had to take dog with us last minute, and the previously booked condo in town wasnât pet friendly. They enjoyed the small cabin, which was close to Fish Lake and Lake Wenatchee.
We loved the cabin itself and the easy access, minus the said stairs to the loft being very steep but overall it was great. Cleaning is my job and I can't unsee with my standards of a clean VRBO. Cobwebs that could easily be dusted away, everywhere. Light switches, cabinets inside and out, microwave and every window all need a very deep clean more often than currently done. That being said, we would rent this place again.
Nice quiet place, nearby to Leavenworth. Recommend if you are looking to get away from it all. We may have been the first people to use it in some time because there was quite a few cobwebs and dust piles. Some of the lights were also not working, but with the head, the darkness was welcome. Other than those small things, it was a great stay.
Wonderful host and great cabin with lots of character to relax and unwind. A couple restaurants nearby and small stores if you forget something or need to do laundry. Itâs close to Lake Wenatchee for activities and hiking. Leavenworth can be loud and packed, so I preferred staying here, exploring Leavenworth for the day, then coming pack to the peace of the cabin. I would recommend staying here! Youâll enjoy it!
The cabin was the perfect in between spot for our activities. We skied and explored Leavenworth. There was a ton of snow and the roads and driveway were well maintained. The 4WD was helpful. The cabin was warm and comfy in the 25 degree weather.
The photos don't do this cabin justice. Both my wife and I were so surprised how cozy this place was. The wall heater broke, but the host gave us a space heater before we noticed it had broken. It was negative temps but we had zero issues staying warm. We also enjoyed being close to the Sno Park and the absolutely beautiful Lake Wenatchee. They had snow shoes for us to use which was great we didn't have to drive to figure out rentals.
We always enjoy coming to the cabin. The boy's (7&10) especially love it. This was our 3rd year. The host, Jane, has always gone above and beyond to make us welcome. This year she left us a jar of Huckleberry jam she put up this fall.
