Cozy Lake Wedowee Home with Private Dock, 2 slips and 100 ft of lake frontage

Welcome to Holland House! Our home is located on the banks of Lake Wedowee, one of the most pristine lakes in the Southeast, which is known for its clean waters and excellent fishing. We are 2.5 miles from Flat Rock State Park and 1.5 miles from Harmony Pointe boat launch.

Our home is a fishermen's dream! We have a large, lighted private dock that boasts 2 covered slips, room to dock 2 additional boats uncovered, fish cleaning station with sink, mini refrigerators, live fish pen, and sunning deck with plenty of seating. Cedar trees under the dock make fishing without a boat a breeze. There is plenty of room for trailer parking as well. If fishing isn't your thing, our deck is also perfect for family getaways with a ladder on the dock and calm water to swim. We have a peddle boat and 2 children's kayaks. Wedowee Marina has boat and jet ski rentals available. There is a propane gas grill and charcoal weber grill on our large back deck. Seating and a fire pit with wood provided that is perfect for smores and more! Flat Rock has a great children's playground, swimming and picnic pavilions.

Holland House has a recently remodeled kitchen that is well stocked and new appliances. There is a large TV in the living room and the couch is also a queen sofa bed. We have a large covered porch with plenty of seating and great views of the lake. Morning coffee with gorgeous sunrises that also hosts wonderful views of breathtaking sunsets. The Master has a King size bed with another large TV. There is a full bathroom en-suite in the Master. The guest room has a queen bed with a 32 inch TV. There is a hallway closet that has a washer and dryer. All linens are provided. The home is equipped with DISH TV and highspeed internet.

We are 1.5 hours from Birmingham or Atlanta. Minutes from town with grocery stores and restaurants. Nearby attractions include Cheaha State Park, which is home to the highest point in Alabama. There is hiking and 3 waterfalls. Antique shopping, Talladega Motor Speedway with the Richard Petty driving experience, Cider Ridge Golf Course, one hour drive to Six Flags Over Georgia and one hour drive to Auburn's Jordan-Hare stadium.

The cabin was exactly as described, but the lake views from the porch and dock are actually better than the pictures. The kitchen has anything you could possibly need and the unit and grounds were clean and well maintained. It was close to Cheaha State Park and an easy drive to the speedway. Would definitely stay here again.

First and foremost the communication was a breeze with the host. Arrived to cabin to find an awesome piece of lake Wedowee paradise! The cabin itself was super clean! and Cozy, perfect name for the place. Stocked full of everything you need for a great stay at the lake. And then you have the dock! What an awesome setup for the family to fish. I highly recommend booking this house, we will definitely be coming back!

We recently stayed at this vacation home, and it exceeded all our expectations. Angela was such a great host and made sure that our stay was perfect. The home was so clean and exactly what we had hoped for - a comfortable and well-stocked lake house. We fished from the dock every day, and caught quite a few fish (even in the peak of summer and with unusual weather conditions). We will definitely be renting this home again in the future and highly recommend if you’re looking for a great Lake Wedowee vacation rental!

Flat rock cozy cabin

Stayed all over the lake and this is a great spot! Fantastic dock, cute house, loved the big porch! Angela was great at communicating and was a great host. Just me and my husband most of the week and our grown kids and friends came by to eat or hang at dock. We will def be back. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy such a great spot!!!

Great Weekend Getaway

My wife and I really enjoyed stayed our stay. This place was perfect for our quick weekend trip to Wedowee. We relaxed down by the water and even took a paddle boat ride. Highly recommend this place.

Amazing cabin on Lake Wedowee!

My family and I had a wonderful time over Memorial Day weekend at this beautiful lake house. The pictures of the property don’t do it justice- it’s even better than the amazing photos. The owner has everything you could need for a perfect lake trip and she is so responsive to any questions you may have! Great experience and great location for a getaway with fun things to do for entertainment, fishing, hiking, public parks, etc!

Perfect Getaway

Angela was such a pleasure to book with. The home was clean and beautiful! I could tell this home was kept with love. My kids enjoyed the kayaks and boats. My husband caught catfish, Largemouth bass and Carp fish from the dock. If you are looking for a family getaway any time of the year, this is the perfect place.

The cabin was just as pictured and described. It was very clean and stocked with pretty much anything you may need for a weekend getaway. Communication with the owner was great. The complimentary waters on the night stands were a nice touch.

Home away from home

Our stay was simply amazing! Communication with Angela was so nice not having to communicate with a company you could text her to ask her anything. She was readily available at all times! The house was awesome, very comfortable. The hill going down to the dock was a little steep just because we were traveling with an infant, but the dock and lake was so nice. We caught so many fish even with the lake being low due to beginning of the season. I saw a review about the dirt road getting to the house being bad, to me it was very easy to navigate. Overall it was such a great experience! We will definitely be back in the fall!
