We truly enjoyed our Christmas stay here. The host was exceptional. Met us at the flat and spent time showing it's features and giving us ideas and directions for places to see and places to eat.The location is excellent and within walking distance of all the great Lisbon sites.

We stayed at three different VRBO places during our 14 day Portugal visit. The owner Filipa not only stands out way above any VRBO visits in terms of communication but also in terms of welcoming you in am getting you ready for your Lisbon visit. She greeted us in person with pastries. After showing us how everything worked in the unit, she sat down and mapped out all the cool sites to visit in Lisbon and surrounding area. The location is so central, we were able to walk to most places within 15 minutes. Grocery store in less than four minute and Bifanas in less than two minutes. On a scale of 1-10, I would give Filipa's unit an 11.

Excellent space for exploring Lisbon

To begin with, Filipa the host goes out of her way to get you acclimated! She met us upon arrival, but before that was prompt and thorough in her communications. She explained all the amenities of the apartment and gave great advice on cultural activities. The location is so central to everything and has an elevator, rare in such a historic building! Don't worry about the lack of AC, between the fans and keeping the shutters closed during the day, the space stayed comfortable. I would definitely re-book the next time we are able to visit!

We had a wonderful time in Lisbon. Staying here made it centrally located and easy to walk many places. Filipa was excellent at meeting, explaining, and recommending places for us. Dios Arcos was our favorite very close by.The apartment was very clean and just the right size for me and my wife. Nice shower and kitchen spaces. The breeze at night was perfect - never needed the A/C. The building's old elevator was very well maintained and easy to use. Felt safe and comfortable. Highly recommend.

So many great things about this property and not one negative point. From the very start the communication with the owner was excellent. On our arrival she met us at the door even though it was close to 8pm. She showed us around the apartment, told us about the neighbourhood and welcomed us with two pastels de nata. The location was absolutely excellent and probably the best area to access all of the distinct parts of Lisbon. Although the apartment is located on a busy street, with the windows closed the apartment is perfectly silent. No worries at all about having a great sleep. Lots of hot water for the shower, strong wifi signal, comfy bed, elevator to the third floor. In summary, we would not have a second thought about returning.

Great location

The owner was terrific! She responded to every question within minutes sometimes seconds. She was very accommodating and really cared about my concerns, few as they were. The location was minutes from the city center. Looks of shops and restaurants right outside my door.The apartment was not very sound proofed so the folks living above me were a bit annoying but other than that, it was a nice place to stay.

Prime location and well appointed

We had a lovely stay in Lisbon and the apartment had a great location. Our host was excellent with communication and the home had everything we needed for an amazing stay. The elevator was helpful for luggage and we also did laundry using the washing machine. And, worth noting, the apartment is about 100 meters from the best bifanas in Lisbon! We would stay here again.

This is the place for Lisbon!

First time in Lisbon! Filipa, the host, was fantastic! Answered all our questions before hand and met us at the flat when we arrived. She told us all we needed to know to get a quick start! Flat is cozy and clean. Had everything that the two of us needed to enjoy our stay. Quaint, cool elevator that we used only to move in and move out with our suitcases. Took the winding stair case the other times, up three flights. Love the location, so close to all the attractions in central Lisbon. Great neighborhood. We walked everywhere! We did get Yellow Bus tickets and Lisbon passes to ride out to places like the aquarium and Belem Tower. The public transportation system is great. No need for a car. We did hire a guide and car to take us out to Sintra and Cascais. Well worth the trip! Uber from and to the airport was less than 20 Euros with tip and took about 15 minutes. Unexpected were the Christmas decorations, lights and craft/gift villages all around. Bonus! For a couple, Filipa's flat is the place to stay in Lisbon!

Great week in Lisbon

Very impressed with personalized check-in and helpful hints for travel, shopping, restaurants. Perfect location for exploring the city and using metro/trains. Cozy 1 bedroom was all we needed. The laundry, coffee, elevator were greatly appreciated.
