Ideal location in Bloomsbury

Love the location and the overall comfort of the hotel. Good accommodations that serve as an excellent launch pad for the West End, parks (especially Russel Square), and transportation options via the Tube or busses.

Clean comfortable room overlooking the secret garden and skyline views. It was a great base for what was an amazing weekend exploring London.

This is an older property that has been updated. The bathroom door is a problem because unless it’s closed, it naturally opens into the room in front of the sink and mirror. Having a tub was nice. Motion detector lighting was a problem as there were times waiting for the elevator on my floor thst the corridor lights went out and even waving my hands didn’t put the lights back on. I had to physically move around and dance a bit. Also when returning to the hotel at 12:30 am on a Saturday, I found the lobby lighting dimmed so much that I thought the lights were off. It was only when I entered and saw three staff behind the check encounter that I realized the place wasn’t shut down. Very strange and unwelcoming to have 24 hour attendants in the lobby basically standing in the dark.

The hotel was very close to the British Museum and within walking distance of notable areas such as SoHo and Covent Garden. Access to the tube was also very close. The only negative was that the room did not have air conditioning and the window faced the street, so it was pretty loud at night.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The garden view room I had was small but beautifully presented. The evening sun came flooding into the room which was lovely. I opened the windows to birdsong! It was too cold to sit outside but it looked an inviting place for a drink or coffee in warmer weather. The one downside was breakfast. I favour continental not cooked and the choice was limited and quite generic eg cereal, fruit and yoghurt. Nevertheless I would highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay again.

10/10! Loved everything about this hotel, especially the super comfortable beds, the spacious and clean room, the extremely friendly and helpful staff and the incredible location and fabulous view. Spent 4 nights here with a friend in a twin bed room and we would gladly stay here again.

My husband and I loved the Bedford! Centrally located with plenty of dining options. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options and was right next to the gardens. Our room was ready ahead of check in time, everyone was pleasant and the room was clean. Could not ask for more. Definitely would recommend!
