It was fine but for the brand and the money paid it was very average. Cold room. Thin duvet. Feather pillows that basically dissolve during the night so you end up with neck ache. Bathroom looked very tired. Breakfast was good and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful.but won’t rush back.

Staff tried to charge for a prepaid room at check in. The room was only surface clean. The breakfast area wasn’t well maintained. One waiter dropped a lid on the floor and put it back on the container and continued service.

Stayed for one night in November. The room was ok although the air con was broken and only blew cold. We just turned it off which wasn't a problem as the room temperature was ok. Mentioned to reception on checkout. One of the duvet covers had a rip in it .. but was clean. Probably could do with refurb of the room as not what I'd call deluxe. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice. The bar area was nice too.

The hotel and staff were first rate, position was ok 5 mins from angel . Breakfast was good. Beds were very firm not good for a side sleeper with health probs but seems to be the norm now!

The hotel is well-situated for trains and tube, and Islington is right on the doorstep. We were happy with our stay, but the constant issues with the key cards not working in the lifts and our room were annoying. Hopefully, the hotel fixes this, as everything else was great.

The room was clean and comfortable, staff were fine but not overly friendly or welcoming. Service in restaurant and bar were okay, but service could be slow, appreciate they are busy but eating dinner in restaurant one evening out of our party of 8, one person received their dinner when the other 7 were nearly finished and then they started clearing the table before that one person had finished eating. Overall adequate but probably wouldn’t stay again.
