Unit #314 Sand Cay Beach Resort Pool and Garden View

Light and bright, close to the elevator, this third floor condo is garden view, midway between the pool and beach. The unit is a two bedroom, two bath condo with living room, dining area, fully equipped updated kitchen, small den/office area, and balcony with awning. Both living room and dining room have vaulted ceilings. Living room includes wall unit with 55” flat panel TV and updated living room furniture. There is an in-room safe. Condo is non-smoking.
There is a king bed in the master bedroom, 2 twin beds in guest bedroom, and a queen fold out in the living room. This unit is attractive, clean, and comfortable with easy access to the beach or pool.
Maximum occupancy is 6. This unit requires a 3 night minimum stay.
Amenities include: 3 televisions, DVD, stereo, family games, and free wireless internet.

Excellent stay

Great place for our family. Very clean and everything was exactly as described. Only issue was that our key was not left out for the late check in, but after calling the number provided we were put in another unit and then moved to the correct unit the next day. Staff was very apologtic and credited us a night which was a great surprise.Highly reccomend!.

Sheet was scratchy and of poor quality. Mattress was uncomfortable. I woke up every morning with a sore back. I don’t have back problems ordinarily. Master bedroom bathroom sink was clogged when I arrived. I had the use the other bathroom. Loved the condo decor!

Awesome Place at the Beach

This place was clean and updated. Just as the pictures show. Comfortable beds. We love the proximity of the beach and all the amenities Sand Cay has. Perfect for a relaxing weekend. This is our second stay at the Sand Cay (first at this property) and we will continue to come back for years. It is just we are looking for in a vacation spot.

Wonderful stay!

We had a great stay at Sand Cay! The condo was extremely clean and spacious with everything we needed. Just a few steps to the beach or pool with plenty of activities available as well on the property. Parking included was a bonus as well! The staff was so kind and responsive. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be coming back!

We liked the location of the condo and accessibility to the beach. We probably won’t stay there again though because the condo itself was just ok. Some concerns we had: Bathroom are dated and the sink in the master bathroom would not drain. We called the office and someone came 2 days after we arrived and he said “I put draino in it and got some stuff out”, which made us feel kind of gross because our toothbrushes and toiletries were in there. There was a very large tv in the main living area which did not work, someone had plugged in a small tv in front of it, so we had to huddle around it to watch the bowl games. I called and they said they would get a new tv in the next couple of days. They finally brought a larger one on the 3rd day of our 5 day trip, did not replace the broken one but just plugged it in front of it. To be fair we checked in on 12/31 and the office was closed until 1/2. Therefor we could not address some of these concerns until then, which also added to our unease about the place. We did like that the kitchen has been nicely updated and the master was large but wished there was a little more attention to detail in other areas of the condo.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our extended weekend at Sand Cay. Management was kind, the beach was wonderful and the unit was perfect for our small family. Close to restaurants and Publix, and just what we needed.

Beautiful spot

Everything was as described. Beach is perfect, 3 miles from grocery, 7 from restaurants and shopping. Easy check-in and check-out. Nice tall ceilings make the square footage seem larger. Could use some decor updates but very clean and comfortable.

Overall very nice. Minor maintenance issues need to be addressed but nothing major. Great location and beach was wonderful. No washer and dryer in the condo.

Terrific location!

This was our first visit to Longboat Key and we had a wonderful experience! Communication with the owner was very easy. This unit is excellent-very comfortable, with close proximity to the beach! We loved access to grill area with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Having access to chairs is super convenient too. Very quiet! A truly relaxing vacation

Lovely place!

Perfect condo on the beach. No view of ocean, but nice to be able to enjoy a short walk to the beach. Staff at front office were extremely nice and helpful. Definitely would come back to this location. Thank you for opening up your property to us. It’s perfect!

100 steps to the beach is a dream

Searching for a place to stay - everyone has their own requirements, although there are general principles: the coast as a whole, an apartment or a house, the number of beds and the price For many, it is important how far from the beach. Longboat Island turned out to be a wonderful, very beautiful place, and the Sand Cay Complex is something that almost meets all the requirements. 3-storey houses are literally 50-100 steps from the wonderful beach, where there are lounges and umbrellas Unit 314, where we spent the week, turned out to be comfortable, clean with everything we needed and quiet. Two good bedrooms, two bathrooms, two TVs, kitchen, living room and balcony - what else do you need? Thanks to the owner of the apartment - Lyn, as well as to the hospitable staff of the administration of the complex

Good but need to be careful in some details

Good but need to be careful in some details: Overall room was good enough. Positive comments about kitchen, tv system in living and bedrooms. Things to improve: I am not happy for the air condition system, it was inconsistent, some times cool but some times really hot like not working. Another recommendation is to put more replacement bags In kitchen and bathrooms.
