From the moment I arrived until the moment I departed, the service at this hotel was consistently excellent — and that is entirely thanks to the people who work here. The front desk team was welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful. Every interaction was handled with efficiency, warmth, and a smile. Housekeeping kept everything spotless and well cared for, always respectful and attentive to detail. The restaurant and bar staff deserve special praise — servers, cooks, and bartenders alike. Meals were well prepared, service was smooth and friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed yet professional. It’s clear the kitchen and service teams work in sync and take pride in what they do. The doormen and concierge were outstanding — courteous, attentive, and proactive. Whether it was directions, transportation, recommendations, or simply a friendly greeting, they made every day easier and more enjoyable. Finally, credit to management for setting the tone. It’s obvious that this hotel is well run, that staff are supported, and that service culture matters here. Everyone I encountered — and many behind the scenes I never saw — contributed to an experience that felt seamless, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming. We arrived over Thanksgiving to find out a wedding was taking place and would be closing the pool area for the entirety of our stay. The wedding set up and actually party was so incredibly loud that we had to change rooms at 8pm at night. The staff was not very helpful and did not want to compensate us for the change of a premium room to basic. Very disappointed.

This was by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at in any country! They were friendly, went above and beyond. Checked in on you frequently and wanted to ensure they provided the best experience! Overall, our stay was okay. The food is priced at high, Americanized rates, which feels pretty unreasonable for Egypt. The staff, however, are friendly and kind, which made a big difference. The carpets in the main area are dated, worn out, and peeling up from the floor, and the elevator has a terrible smell. Despite that, the hotel itself is good — it has beautiful views and genuinely wonderful staff. We were also very disappointed to see that the girls working in the restaurant do the majority of the work, yet they don’t receive the tips. The men collect all of the tips, which feels unfair given how hard those women were working. Overall, I wouldn’t personally rate this as a true four- or five-star hotel. I think part of how they maintain those ratings is by asking guests to review their dining experience, which then counts toward the hotel’s overall score — a bit sneaky, in my opinion.

Amazing staff, beautiful grounds right on Nile with nice pool. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Mohammed the restaurant manager at Rosetta restaurant always went out of his way to make our evening meal special. They decorated the room with flowers and cake for my birthday. The location is excellent. Very close to Karnak Temple.
