I had originally booked two rooms for two nights for about $160 each. When I changed it to one night they charged one room for one night $180. They said it was “expedia’s” fault and they couldn’t change (even though I called the hotel directly to change and they said over the phone it would be fine). Other issues as well too long to comment on. There was a difficult language barrier as well. The room and facility was fair at best but the breakfast was decent. Would not recommend.

Manager very nice. We couldn't eat the breakfast as it was all wheat based, except for the fruit, but he made sure we got some of the fruit. Very clean. Unfortunately, people above us were quite noisy, so I don't think the soundproofing was very good. I would definitely return, but would request a second story room. Refrigerator and microwave in the room worked perfectly.

DISGUSTING, REFUSED TO STAY THERE WANT MONEY BACK

Pros: NOTHING!!!
Cons: WILL NEVER USE TRAVELOCITY AGAIN. HOTEL SAID WE COULD NOT GET OUR MONEY BACK SINCE WITH BOOKED THROUGH YOU. WE DIDN'T STAY DUE TO HOTEL WAS DISGUSTING
Location: FIND A BETTER HOTEL TO STAY AT.
Upon arrival walked into the lobby and it smelled like a dirty ashtray. No one at the counter to help us. Once person showed up they spoke broken English and couldn't understand them. Decided to cancel reservation due to the condition of the hotel and told I couldn't because I had booked through your company. That place was awful and no way would I or my family sleep in such a disgusting, smelly place. We had to find another hotel.

You get what you pay for

Pros: Free Internet
If you're looking for an inexpensive place to stay on a weekend trip to the Central VA valley, the Super 8 Appomattox fits bill. The room was clean, but not sparkling (musty bathroom). Staff was friendly, even when my room key De-activated during my stay. Great for a weekend getaway where you would rather spend money on local attractions and meals and a little less on where you sleep.

This Hotel was not very accommodating

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: Noisy, Poor breakfast
The room was dirty and the bathroom floor was wet from toilet leak. The room smelled of filth and smoke. Nicotine stained the windows and curtins. I would not stay or recommend this Hotel to anyone. The price was out of budget for the area. There is only two so they raised the price of less than 1 star hotel. I will never stay at Super 8 again due to this one hotel.

Bugs in the room.

There were a lot of large dead bugs around the room and a few large bugs flying around the room. They kept landing on the head board. Also the heater made a great deal of noise throughout the night.
