Summary
LAKE HOUSE with wide open-water on the sunset side of Cedar Creek Lake. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, conveniently located 10 minutes from restaurants and shops, within one hour drive southeast of Dallas. Fully stocked kitchen, large grill, DVD movies, and loads of board games. Enjoy boating, jet skiing (nearby rentals), fishing, swimming, kayaking, relax & adore the beautiful view on the porch or at the fire pit making S'more:) 2 bedrooms have walk out balcony facing the gorgeous lake view.

The space
Fall in love with the perfect view of the sunsets from this house. Cedar creek lake boasts 32,873 acres for your boating, fishing, kayaking, rafting, swimming and skiing pleasure.

Break away from city life, enjoy the gentle sound of waves crashing against the beach and relax your mind and soul.

Great place for kids to have fun and enjoy. One of the few properties on the lake which has a small beach for kids to play on. Kids will also love making s'mores and singing at the campfire using the karaoke machine.

Perfectly located in a calm, quiet and relaxing location while being just 10 minutes drive from groceries, restaurants, water sport rentals (boats, jet skis), and boat ramps.

House Rules:
-Anyone swimming, using the kayaks, or floating swim rings is a USE AT YOUR OWN RISK AND MUST WEAR A LIFE JACKET! We have done our best to provide a variety of life jackets and sizes, but we can not guarantee a fit for everyone. Therefore, use of our life jackets is at your risk also.You could buy life jackets from nearby Walmart.
-CHILDREN outside should be supervised at all times.
-We hope that you enjoy the outdoors—food, drinks, cigars :) on the porch, but we ask that you keep things quiet and music low after 10:00pm out of respect for neighbors around.

-Please do not bring pets. We love animals, but we recognize the issues related to pet dander/allergies and cleanliness. Evidence of a pet in the house could result in a deduction of the security deposit.
-Please do not smoke inside the house. We are doing our best to keep our home smoke free for guests who are prone to allergies.
-We have a circle drive so please park in the driveway. No street parking.

2nd time staying here! Love the sand volleyball upgrade!

Great location with the walk into the lake strip! Spent most of our time outside with volleyball, swimming, grilling and making s’mores! Made great memories and definitely becoming back!

We reserved and payed for this rental in 1/2023 in anticipation of the eclipse. We got the entrance code 3 days in advance of arrival. When we arrived at the property it was already occupied by someone else. Horrible, disappointing, stressful situation. We arranged another last minute, much more expensive VRBO rental on our own. A travel specialist denied VRBO paying us the difference in cost. I cam still very, very disappointed and angry. I will not be using VRBO in the future. No one has bothered to reach out to me

This spot is wonderful!

My family of 7 enjoyed a weekend getaway. the place is perfect for kids big and small. Enough room to sleep comfortably, but Who wants to sleep with all of these extras outdoors!! FUN TIMES on the LAKE

This property is set up for the ultimate family fun! Sand Volleyball court, fire pit, beach front bar, plus water toys. We really enjoyed sitting out on the porch in the evening play cards. Everything was well stocked! This place will be awesome during summer months!

It was an awesome set up, great house!

The place was not very clean, it says no animals allowed but there was dog/animal hair everywhere. The bathroom was flooded when we got there we had to dump a pan of water all weekend, but the outside set up made it totally worth it. I would rent this house again and refer my friends and family.

We loved the “beach” entry to the lake and the kayaks! The house comfortably sleeps a large group but not the best for a large group that likes to cook or eat together, as there’s limited table seating indoors. Kitchen needs some supplies, including more utensils (enough forks for 10), measuring spoons, better knives, etc. Also the kitchen floor feels soft (water damage?) and needs repair.

Great rental!!

We had a wonderful time! The house is roomy, clean and comfortable! The theater chairs are great! The sandy beach area is perfect for the kids. Our family had the best time playing volleyball in the evenings while we cooked on the grill! The lake is shallow and deepens very gradually, even past the doc we could reach bottom. Very safe for the kids. The deck is roomy and screened on the sides. The paddle boat and kayaks were so much fun!

Great lakehouse!

Great location and property. We had a large group and were completely comfortable. The house is close to town and a reasonable drive to Canton, where we spent our days. I would definitely look to stay here again in the future.

Great lake house

This was a wonderful lake house. We loved the kayaks available for use and the backyard! The kids had fun with the volleyball net and all the toys (balls, badmitton) available. The little tiki bar was cute. One of my kids sprayed it down and served me appetizers and drinks out there. So fun! The screening on the porch was pulled away due to a recent storm but it didn't matter - there were literally no mosquitos at Cedar Creek. It was nice and cool every morning out there. The evening sunsets are simply breathtaking. I would love to see the owner install blinds for the two lake facing bedrooms - would help with the late afternoon sun. However, we would stay here again in a heartbeat! They had toilet paper, soap, papertowels, coffee filters, salt, pepper and more available for use. That was so nice to not have to plan for basics. Great time at this house!

Was ok

Landlord did communicate well, but the AC did NOT work the entire weekend and was told a AC service tech would come but no one ever did. There were spiders everywhere, which not a horrible thing, but couldn't use the ping pong table, or the bar. The volleyball net was broken and the house smelled like mold. You get what you pay for. But the water was nice and so were the neighbors. You will have to rent your own boat or jet ski because the ones at the property looked like they haven't been in the water in years. Overall we had a good time, just wish the house was alittle cleaner and the AC wasn't broken the whole trip.

So relaxing.

Overall, the experience was great. We loved the beach and back patio. We tried to use the volleyball court but there were lots of thorns in the grass. Also the bathroom door knobs kept getting stuck and we would have to rescue people from the bathroom. The tiki bar was a nest of wasps so we left that alone. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Great little getaway.

Beautiful house and location!!

We went for spring break and had a wonderful time! House is very clean and beautiful. The outdoor amenities were great. The younger ones loved the beach area and teens spent hours on the kayaks. The pictures are exactly what you see!!! We will be back for sure!
