"The room was clean when we arrived. The staff were helpful. We stayed at the Straits Lodge building but we stayed on the other side of the one elevator it had they need a 2nd elevator. The walls were thin so you could hear noises pretty easily. The food at the restaurant was very good for both dinner and breakfast. The view from the front of the hotel was pretty amazing. We also liked hearing the history of the hotel from Pat. We walked to the hotel and it is pretty walkable and quieter since it is away from downtown. Lastly it is very pet friendly and that was a plus for us."
