"This was a wonderful stay on our trip through Virginia. Addy, who prepared our breakfast, did an excellent job! The food was great, she checked with us to see if we needed anything else, spent a few minutes chatting with us before we left. Also, the gentleman working at the check/in desk(I can’t recall his name), helped troubleshoot issues we had with the tv on check-in. We have never stayed at a Microtel, but will certainly try to stay at one if needed!"

"We stayed here when passing thru Virginia to head to South Carolina - This is an older hotel but very clean and good sized room and bed was comfortable, air conditioning set just right. We especially liked the continental breakfast spread set up by Pat and conversation with other friendly staff. Pat has been working here for 30 years and said new owners planning renovations. Parking was convenient next to the hotel with east side door entry. We did not get a chance to explore downtown, but hotel is located across from the performing arts theater - art deco and historic buildings nearby with various shops and some restaurants that we saw as we drove past. Affordable stay and we do recommend. "
