The overall experience was good! The location was excellent! Shops, restaurants, beach, clubs and a handy supermarket just steps away! Loved the city vibrant and clean! Nice that they had a few beach umbrella's in the apartment as they are definitely needed. The outdoor patio is definitely a great sell point for this unit.Two drawbacks to this rental unit were tiny throw pillows just 2 per bed were provided. We went out and purchased a few full size pillows and left them for the next guest. The largest drawback was the cockroach infestation on both floors. It is hot and summer in Spain so we would expect to see some but we literally had to sleep with one eye open knowing they were everywhere.My daughter spent the week sleeping on the living room couch. The problem has been around for some time and the landlord/owner has done nothing to address the issue. I did reach out to Solaga with pics and the response was 'what can i do?' Honestly nothing but when the apt is empty fix the cracks,molding,hole in the ceiling and fumigate the unit. Be proactive! I really didn't want to write a bad review but the thought of another family enduring that infestation led me to this.

Fantastic Stay

We had the pleasure of staying at this property for four nights during our trip to Spain. Don’t even hesitate about booking this place! Perfect location

Our experience was lovely at this penthouse Vrbo. Our property manager was so helpful to accommodate us with our arrival time and departures. The space was large enough for our family of 5 and allowed everyone to spread out after a long day of touring. I would note that the other reviewers whom struggled with the noise is ONLY in the living room area and sound is perfectly quiet in all bedrooms. (We read these reviews and bought ear plugs and never once used them). Things like condiments, napkins, basic cooking needs are NOT in this unit so if you are someone who likes or needs to cook then you’ll need to plan accordingly. I will definitely recommend this home to our friends and family.

Overall we were very pleased with our 3 week stay. With the amazing old town location it comes with some note worthy comments. It is a very lively location with restaurants and bars right below the apartment. So if you seek a quite night time location this may not be for you. It would have also been nice to have some basic kitchen staples to start off with. Salt, pepper and sugar to name a few. There was nothing. These are small things to note but they are worth mentioning. Overall an amazing large apartment in the heart of Malaga. We would stay again.

Great central location

We spent 10 days in Malaga with our two children and daughter-in-law. We were grateful for the spacious two-floor apartment! Plenty of room, nicely decorated, comfortable beds and all the kitchen basics. Note that this apartment is right in the central historic district, with nightclubs nearby and many bars and restaurants. It is lively, and can be noisy at night. Bring your earplugs!

The property is spacious and in a very central location in the old city, convenient for many restaurants and places to visit. The apartment is a little tired, the online photographs are not completely accurate, particularly with regard to the terrace furniture, the key to the front door of the building is difficult to operate and the lock probably needs adjustment, the allocation of crockery and cutlery between the two apartments should be checked. Some minor repairs are necessary, for example, attaching the rods to the curtains in the main lounge and adjusting the showerhead in the upper bathroom to ensure that it does not spray the whole bathroom.Solaga were excellent and dealt with a minor problem very quickly and efficiently.

Great location

Nice apartment in a great location. Surprisingly quiet given how close to everything you are. A bit of a trick to get the right amount of jiggle on the key to the front door! Could probably do with a few more glasses (not helped by us breaking one-sorry) but otherwise no problems. The furniture on the patio was different to that pictured. But the rest was as described.

Lots to do from this excellent location in Malaga

Best location. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Try Meson Mariano for Artichokes! Eat a menu del dia at La Parrilla delicatessen.Take a day trip to Caminato del Rey with Activa Tours, maximum group size 8, was perfect for these two 70 year olds! Recycling bins are Yellow for plastics and cans.

In general the apartment was good. The decoration and fittings were a little tired . Given the price I would have expected a little welcome pack of a few essentials. We did get a bottle of wine left but that was mainly due to the delay on the transfer. I was kept awake one night by noise from a neighbour apartment. The furniture on the roof terrace was not as advertised,but it was a fantastic sun trap. The location could not be better

Super & Spacious Apartment in the heart of Old Town

We met Carlos who showed us around the apartment which is exactly as advertised, couldn’t fault it so much space. A small glitch with Wi-Fi was attended to within minutes, great service as we were still working from “home”. We made good use of the outside patio which was very useful even in Winter. Supermarket in walking distance as are restaurants, tapas bars, galleries and attractions. An easy walk for lunch on the beach if you want. Numerous visits to old town but this apartment is a dream, our favourite.

The apartment is in a perfect position right in the heart of Malaga's old town. Restaurants, the beach, and historical sights are all within walking distance, and a great little rooftop terrace to have breakfast on and that cheeky sundowner pre-dinner drinks!
