Our stay was fabulous. The staff at the hotel were accommodating and wonderful to us. The breakfasts were delicious and the location couldn’t be beat. What a wonderful stay we had! We will definitely come back.

There is 5 star service then there is Erica ,, coming from a guy with 35 years in the service industry , I know what I’m talking about From the get go , the warmest welcome was only out shined by her genuine passion for having our stay , our comfort level and overall experiences pushed to the max ! The hotel is situated at the heart of the historical area of Malaga making it convenient for restaurants, bars, museums and the cathedral. Despite being in the heart of Malaga, the hotel was quiet with no noise from the bars. I travelled solo and felt safe at all times. I stayed in a standard double room, the bed was so comfortable and the room tastefully furnished, with a modern coffee machine and mini bar. All the staff were wonderful and couldn’t do enough to help. I would highly recommend this hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

So, so friendly

An excellent boutique style hotel. The personal and friendly service from all the staff was exceptional. We needed a little help and nothing was too much trouble. Lounge with free tea and coffee available all day is a great touch. They even had jars full of sweets. Rooms are immaculate with huge showers. Location is fabulous. Close to a square full of cafes - with the port and shops within walking distance. I could not recommend this place any more. A real gem of a find.

Fabulous stay in the hotel - I received a warm welcome from reception. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room perfect - I think the hotel gave me an upgrade. It was comfortable spacious and had everything I needed. Great location - just mins from Plaza Merced and the historic centre. The street was quiet most nights. The breakfast looked amazing - I didn’t sample it as I’m more of a late brunch person. In the lobby area there was an amazing selection of teas, biscuits and even pick n mix sweets. It was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend

Carla at the front desk and the rest of the staff including the staff at the breakfast room are excellent. They made our visit to Malaga easy, comfortable and memorable. The only thing that bothered us a bit is the water heater. It was hard to control between hot and cold and there is smell just outside the elevator. Other than that our stay was perfect. Thanks.

The hotel was lovely, although the room was small compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at in Spain. The breakfasts were wonderful and the staff were very kind, helpful, and professional. The manager went out of her way to accommodate a concern I had , and rectified a situation regarding the hotel costs. All in all, Malaga is an absolute gem of a city and we loved the ease going places and coming back to this hotel. Very safe!

Upon my arrival, I was assigned a room that was considerably smaller than what I had anticipated, I was also questioned on the double bed I had booked, with a rather sinister look by the receptionist, which made me uncomfortable, the room unfortunately lacked any windows to allow for fresh air circulation. The only opening in the room was an internal window facing the fourth-floor landing, providing a rather unappealing view of the lift shaft, if curtain was open the public would look in and could see the bed, and I could see them too! This particular setup contributed to a rather claustrophobic atmosphere, making it challenging to get a good night's sleep due to persistent noise echoes from the ground level and a noticeable lack of fresh air. , I was quite disheartened by the demeanor of the reception staff when I expressed my concerns. Their responses felt dismissive and unhelpful, leading me to feel as though my presence was not valued. This lack of professionalism was particularly discouraging for someone seeking a pleasant and welcoming experienced. I was initially told that there were no available upgrades. However, I later discovered that an apartment option was listed on your website. Unfortunately, after unpacking and settling in, I was unable to reconsider the extra payment for a room change.As a Gold member of hotel.com, I had higher expectations for my experience, given my loyalty to the platform. I found the overall experience bad, awaiting for reply

We stayed in the apartment. It was huge, spotless and so comfortable. There’s an elevator, so you only have to lug your bags up a few steps. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. We will stay here again when in Malaga!

Great hotel but… NOISE!

Firsty, I would like to point out that the staff was amazing and friendly. The hotel was clean, breakfast was delicious. The only (and big) negative point is the noise. We did not sleep at all while staying at this hotel. You can hear people screaming/singing karaoke in the street until 6am. Feels like they are in your ear because it is not soundproofed whatsoever. While I understand the hotel has no way to control the noise in the street & in the bars close by, I feel like it is important to mention for future travellers. You should not stay at this hotel if you want a quiet night of sleep.

The breakfast starts at 8am that is pretty late as most of day trips start at the meeting point around 8am to 8:30am so 7:30 breakfast would be much better.
