Discovery 4 Unit #113's interior design definitely gives a comfortable cabin feel! It is the perfect escape to the mountains unit for you and your family with its breathtaking view and cozy feel!

Maximum Occupancy: sleeps up to 6 people.

Bed Arrangement: Get a good night's rest in the master bedroom's queen size bed. The bunk beds built into the entryway can accommodate two guests. For additional sleeping space, the living room sofa is a fold out full size bed!

Unit Amenities: Your own full size and fully equipped kitchen and separate dining are ready for your enjoyment. Step out for some fresh air on the private deck which is stacked with dry, seasoned firewood you can use in the wood burning stove. The master bedroom has a new flat screen HDTV . The full size bathroom is complete with a bathtub, shower and separate vanity area. Enjoy the living room with its new flat screen HDTV, VCR, Blu-ray / DVD , free wifi and cable, some movie channels (check channel 40 for all listings).

Views: The Sherwin Mountains and Mammoth Rock can be seen from this unit! There have also been bear sightings!!

On site amenities: Take advantage of the amenities in the recreation room with coin operated laundry machines, a pool table, a ping pong table, video games, soft drinks, a reading area and free wireless internet. At the end of your day unwind in the Jacuzzi or dry sauna which are open year round. The pool is heated from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend. There are gas barbecues located in the pool area that can be used anytime year round.

We came to explore Mammoth by foot and bike, and this place delivered. The location, description of the condo, and expectations were both helpful and clear. We enjoyed ourselves and plan to come back. Comfy beds and first floor access made it doubly nice.

Not the place to be in a heat wave

I wish I could give a good review bc the location was prime. But the place itself was kinda dirty, smelled odd, and didn’t have any fans or AC. Also it was a pain in the butt to have to drive across town to pick the keys up and drop them off.

Great condo!

This was a perfect condo for our family. It was well stocked, clean and warm. Management were helpful and responsive. There were great sledding places right outside the door and it was very close to Canyon. Would recommend!

Clean and convenient

This place worked out great for us to explore the Mammoth area. Clean, quiet, very comfortable bed and convenient location - less than a mile from Mammoth Brewing, and the bike/walking path just down the driveway. Kitchen had everything we needed. Easy parking. Pool and rec center just a few doors down.

Price is right

Location and amenities are on target. It’s a cozy place, which is just right for a family of four spending much of the time outdoors. The single frustration is internet connectivity. Which really is a blessing.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo... It was fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking, extra towels and toiletries and blankets. My only complaint was that there was a smell to the condo - almost like someone had made a bunch of Korean food. The condo itself was extremely clean and accommodated my family well.

Clean & comfortable 1 Br Condo

We stayed in this unit over 4th of July weekend & it worked out well for our family. It’s a small condo, but it’s well laid out & comfortable. It has a typically dated cabin feel, but was very clean with new carpet and sectional couch & flat screen TV’s.

Nicely located

Five minute drive to the Canyon lodge. Hot tub and playroom were a big hit for the family. Only problem we had weals the coffee maker didn’t work. Called the reservation desk to let them know on the first day. Never got a phone call or a replacement coffee maker. Made do by boiling water. If I could give 3 1/2 stars I would. Customer service is half the experience sometimes. Would definitely stay in the same condo again and again.

Perfect place for our weekend stay

This was the perfect place for our family of four. The condo was very clean and tidy. Nice living room where we could all watch tv, clean and fully stocked kitchen (and I do mean fully stocked - I cooked and baked during the weekend). Super close to town and walking/sledding trails. My girls really enjoyed the jacuzzi and rec room after a day in the snow. All in all a great place to stay for our family. Also on a side note, the management company was quick to respond to all my questions - no 2 day wait time here!

Camp Out in the Woods With All the Comforts of Home!

Loved the mountain view in the morning while sipping tea in the dining area. And, the fragrance of the pine trees that surround the complex was heavenly. Discovery 4 Unit 113 has everything one could need to prepare meals, even more gadgets and appliances than I have in my own kitchen! The bed and pillows were super comfy, which is hugely important to me. Lots of extra pillows and blankets were found in the cabinets, in case we needed them. Let me express how much I appreciated how impeccably clean this condo was. The grounds are very well kept also, with gorgeous trees and shrubs all around. The pool and spa were a lovely respite after a day of hiking and fishing, as it was quite warm during our stay. Also, one only need walk across the street to hop on the Lakes Basin Path, a beautiful trail with a magnificent view of the town of Mammoth. We were very pleased with this condo and it's location, as one could walk or take the shuttle to the Village or into town. All-in-all, a lovely, serene campout in the forest!

A pleasant weekend

This is a nicely equipped condo that is just the right size for a couple or, perhaps, a family with one or two kids. The kitchen is well-equipped and the location of the condo is excellent. The furniture and beds are comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and will certainly be back.

Cozy 1BR with bunk beds for the kids

We were a bit worried booking a property that lacked reviews so we wanted to leave one after our stay. This is a cozy 1BR in a great location. The view is fantastic and we enjoyed watching the sunrise/sunset as part of our experience on the mountain. The kitchen is a good size with all the utensils you need to cook for yourself as we did. The sofa is large and comfortable to unwind after a strenuous day. The bathroom sink is separated from the shower so that two groups of persons can get ready at the same time which is a big help when you have kids. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We had a great time!
