Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. The hotel looks good on the outside but inside is so old The room and bathroom is out dated, wallpaper was ripped and curtains were not cleaned and close properly The air condition is not working properly as well The bed is so stiff The elevator is so old and stuck in one point Breakfast is not what we expected

The staff was very nice and welcoming. The room was huge and very clean. The building was on the older side and the parking was slim, but overall a nice place to stay. It was easy to walk to dinner during snow storms!

Friendly staff, probably the busiest I have seen the hotel during this visit which is not surprising considering the great snow from the recent storms. Unfortunately the renovations are still slowly progressing, which meant no pool or hot tub access, really wish they were able to finish that by now. The steam room and sauna were available however the sauna did not seem to be working properly. The steam room worked well after letting it warm up for about 20 minutes. Overall another nice visit and still one of my favorite places to stay for short snowboard trips. Great value for the price and close proximity to the mountain.

The rooms and property haven’t been updated or even looked after in years. The pool is “being redone” for two years now. Restroom ceiling has mold and paint is coming off. Only reason to stay here is that there is no other similar alternative and that’s probably why they don’t care about maintenance
