Check in was early for us with no problem. Squeaky bathroom door was bothersome.

Nice Mountain Resort

This hotel has its own mini golf course, a pool, a pool table, and a nice restaurant on site. You don't have to go far to find something to do, yet it's close to Mammoth Ski Resort if that's what you are in the area to do. The staff was great at helping me resolve a reservation problem. I would definitely stay there again.

Great Value... Good Location

What more do you need for a quick ski vacation than a clean room, convenient location and great staff? At Sierra Nevada, you'll find all those things. It's no luxury resort, but it gets the job done at a great price. What was truly exceptional was that the hotel was able to accommodate and early check-in since we arrived at 830a.

Nice hotel. Lots of convenience.

Pros: Location, spa, ambiance, suite room
Cons: outside appearance
Location: breakfast, coffee, atv and kayak rentals
The hotel doesn't look magnificent from the outside, but once your inside it's very nice (modern rustic feel). I got the suite room with the fireplace, I find it a little overpriced, 550 for two nights... but that's just my opinion. The staff was helpful and helped us get a couples massage the same evening we showed up. The spa was very clean as well, with all the amenities that you would expect. The restaurant associated with the hotel was really good, with a big drink menu. This hotel is located within walking distance to a coffee shop, and a few good breakfast spots. I would definitely book this hotel again considering everything ran so smoothly.

Nice hotel/ convenient near Mammoth Ski Resort

Pros: Conveniently located with alot of rooms, convenient parking.
Cons: nothing
Location: see above
Rolled into town on a Thursday and found this hotel at the last minute and was pleasantly surprised that it was a decent place to stay the night before skiing at Mammoth Lakes Ski Resort. It was located a short distance from Main St. and nearby to highway 395 with nearby stores and restaurants. They have 3 various restaurants connected to their property, saw a little entertainment at a bar/restaurant at night. Played a relaxing game of pool and had coffee at the lobby. Had a chess table and pieces set up and a fireplace. Also had a spa.

One of The Best Resorts I've stayed!

My husband, our two kids and I took a trip to Mammoth mountains on the weekend before the 4th or July. A friend of ours recommended we stay at the Sierra Nevada resort. We absolutely loved the experience. The place was tasteful, super authentic and felt like home (it even had heated toilet seat!). The restaurant, Rafters, next door had amazing food too! On top of everything it's close to all the lakes, hot springs, hiking, mountain biking ... The owners, Jim and Nancy, happened to be there the same weekend. They were very welcoming and they even arranged for our kids to be entertained at the mini golf course right next to the restaurant while we were dining. We will definitely come back to this place for more family adventures!

Cozy, cabin feel, friendly staff

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
Cons: no continental breakfast
The hotel was clean, has friendly staff, decor a bit outdated but overall good experience. The 10% at Jimmy's Greek restaurant for being a guest at the hotel was a plus...best meal ever!

Perfect Location in the middle of town.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, lobby fireplace :), decor
Cons: beds are typically firm
The location is perfect for walking around the town for shopping. It has a great warming hut style lobby with a pool table and nice reading area. Hot drinks are almost always available in the lobby and the continental breakfast served next door at rafters is decent.
