The room was lovely and clean with brilliant amenities, the only issue we had where the pillows...they where far too squashy, we hardly slept all night on them, they looked to be expensive feather pillows but just not the firmness we needed, other than that the hotel is lovely, the spa on the other hand isnt very good (the spa has nothing to do with the hotel) the lady i spoke to about a leg wax looked like she really couldnt be bothered doing anything, she tried 3 times to put me off booking any treatment, told me the wax would take 45 minutes to an hour to heat up after um'ing and ahh'ing about actually having to get out of her seat, tgis is a terrible service and althought it doesnt actually belong to the beautiful hotel...it gives the hotel a bad name

Great location, very helpful staff and room was ideal for our two night stay. Comfortable beds and tea coffee facilities was great to have. Well located a stone throw from the train station and within walking distance to shopping area.

There was a fault with the main lights which affected visibility. Channels 1 - 5 didn't work on the television. The heating didn't work on day one and took a while to start on day 2. Advised reception and was just advised they would escalate internally. Not a comfortable stay unfortunately.
