Poor Hotel Customer Service.
Our main issue: online, the rate was $ 114 per night on 5 screens before purchase but the final one changed one night to over $ 300. We contacted Expedia. Expedia agreed the rate change was an issue and given it listed 5 times before final purchase, the booking should be cancelled and re issued. The hotel was the only party able to cancel the booking but refused. We wanted to add an additional room as well.
Expedia Customer Care did an amazing job on the issue and saw the mistake. The Sales department of the hotel refused all calls from us and Expedia -denied any rebooking. This is their choice, and our only response is fair review of the hotel based on the rate. The hotel did allow us to have an additional child stay with us on one night at no charge.
Breakfast included. It’s a 10 minute walk to another hotel. Food 3 out of 10
Room lower quality than the photos
The condition of the hotel does not meet the price level. Our business is tour support and decided to try this location but it failed in value for price. Overall, the rate(holiday) at $ 114 does not compare to true star rated locations such as Movenpick or JW Marriot offering slightly higher rates for vastly better facilities, service, F&B and room comfort.
Greed over service in the hotel industry in Vietnam happens, case in point. We live and work here and can attest this hotel not worth the price.
