For the price, this is a solid property. Check in staff was friendly. Room and bathroom were clean and neat. Pool area small, but adequate with a bathroom of its own there and seemed to be enough towels.

The best thing about this hotel is that all the staff I interacted with were polite, friendly, and helpful. Unfortunately, the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired (visible dust on lights, lots of hair, dust, crumbs, etc on the floors and esp in the bathroom). Also unusual is that I think they only have like ten pool towels. When we went into the pool area, another family was using five or six and the towel rack was empty. We asked for more towels, and they brought out four or five, which was not enough for the number of people present. When we asked again, they just gave us regular towels. It’s no big deal but very odd for a hotel that seemed pretty quiet and not busy to be out of pool towels after only ten were used…

Room 235 - door wouldn’t lock from the outside. Used coffee grounds in coffee pot. Dirty bathroom. Moved to Room 312 - used coffee grounds in pot. Had to use coffee pot in bathroom because cord too short to plug in. Desk chair and floor under desk dirty. When I went back to the room after breakfast the keycard wouldn’t work.

Nice hotel close to Schells brewery

Good stay close to downtown, great people. Plenty of things to do. Many choices for food and drinks.
