A tour of the surrounding area:
The apartment is certainly a strategic location for professionals who, due to work commitments, need to stay for several nights, but it is especially perfect for the many tourists—both Italian and foreign—who visit our area every year. Our region hosts a variety of prestigious trade shows, such as Cersaie (for ceramics) and the Motor Valley Fest (the successor to the Motorshow).
In addition to Ferrari, headquartered in Maranello, and the Casa Enzo Ferrari Museum (MEF) in Modena—dedicated to the life and work of Enzo Ferrari—our city is also home to Maserati (currently owned by the Fiat Chrysler Group) and Pagani.
Lamborghini is located in Sant’Agata Bolognese, and the motorcycle manufacturer Ducati is in Bologna.
Each has its own museum and showrooms.
Emilia-Romagna is certainly the land of motors, but it’s not just that.
Art, food and wine, and music make it a destination every year for tourism and fruitful professional collaborations.
*Modena’s main square, cathedral, and tower are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
*Tortellini, balsamic vinegar, and Parmigiano-Reggiano are always featured on the menus of the many trattorias and restaurants in the area. The renowned Michelin-starred chef Massimo Bottura runs one of the world’s most famous restaurants: La Francescana.
*Thanks to the beloved tenor Pavarotti and the soprano Mirella Freni, Modena is internationally regarded as the home of “bel canto” and a training ground for hundreds of opera singers.
The best way to get around is definitely by car. This way, you can also visit many small towns near Maranello that are rich in history and tradition, such as Formigine, Spilamberto, Vignola, Castelvetro, and Castelfranco.
