"When we arrived, around 9 pm, there was no one to check us in. Our room key was sitting on the front desk with a paper that I assumed we were supposed to sign. No instructions, just sitting there for anyone to grab. We have stayed at this place before, and weren't expecting anything fancy, but when I unfolded a washcloth in the room to find spots of fresh, unwashed something that looked like blood, I was a little grossed out. Most of the towels were clean, but there were probably 3 that were not, and that made me wonder about all of them. The bedsheets were stained but looked like they had been washed. The pillows were ridiculous....pancakes in pillow cases. Cable TV appeared to have lots of channels but actually only had a few. The tub sounded hollow and creaked so loudly I worried about going through the floor! They say they have continental breakfast, nope. NOTHING. We called the number to ask and first they denied they advertised breakfast, then insisted there were muffins, NOPE, then said the 2 packets of coffee in the room counted as continental breakfast. The worst part was when I went on a hunt for ice with my ice bucket. Walked through the entire place, only to find a countertop ice machine, the kind you have to pour water in and wait for it to make like 3 cups of ice, sitting in the lobby with a "help yourself" sign. Help yourself is right, haha. We never saw anyone staffing the lobby for our entire stay. Someone is running the place into the ground."
