We stayed here for our annual father/ daughter fishing trip. This was a good hotel for the price. The rooms are clean and modern and everything in them functions well. Hallways/ main areas are a bit outdated, but you won't spend much time there anyways except to walk to your room. The owner is very friendly and accomodating. He had to remove the fish cleaning station due to people misusing it and wasting a lot of water; however, if you need to clean fish, you can ask him and he will bring out the hose for you, which worked just fine for us to clean fish. There is also a grill in the back which can be utilized. My only real complaint is that some of the characters who happened to be staying at the hotel at the time we were there seemed kind of down and out; not necessarily bad people, but I probably wouldn't want to stay here with young kids (under the age of 10 or so). I think that's just the nature of what you get with a low price hotel and is not a reflection of how well the place is run by any means. I would stay here again if I were in town.

Facility: very aged; little insulation (noisy & cold)
Room Lock: old; button key (questionable security) & dead bolt
External Exit Door (next to my room): uncontrolled entry/exit—no lock
Bathroom: no bath/shower safety bars or handles; poor ventilation; large cut out in door to accommodate opening door all the way past toilet
Ventilation: unable to control heating or cooling—temperature 63 degrees (*especially big issue throughout night)
Bedding: clean (*needed another blanket)
Unsecured Key Returns: open lid mailbox in hallway and open basket at check-in window—no employee available anywhere
Parking: unlit & dark back parking lot

Best room for price
Room was clean and comfortable for the price.A little more renovations and this could be a very good place to stay
