Ideal for families or couples traveling together, this private suite includes 2 bedrooms (#5/6) along with a private bathroom. Just outside of your door, enjoy a complimentary light breakfast. There are also a number of shared common areas to enjoy outside of your room.
The first bedroom (room 5) includes a king bed as well as a comfy window sitting area. The second bedroom (room 6) includes a king bed along with a bistro table and chairs to enjoy your morning coffee. The bathroom is through a private hallway between the two rooms and includes a claw foot tub with shower. Soak away the dayâs worries in the tub or take a quick shower, youâll enjoy this spacious bathroom with its vintage yet comfortable styling. An individually controlled, quiet Heating & Air Conditioning unit heats both rooms so we recommend leaving bedroom 5 & 6 doors open particularly during the winter months. For warmer weather, room 6 has its own A/C unit.
This renovated seven-bedroom historic Inn was built by the Biltmore's supervising resident and completing architect, Richard Sharp Smith. A short walk from charming, walkable Marshall, NC on the French Broad River with its cafes, restaurants, shops and brewery, and only 25-minutes from downtown Asheville, the Marshall House Inn is on the National Register of Historic Places.
Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Marshall House Inn is conveniently located between Asheville and Hot Springs. You will be a short drive from the music of Asheville, the Appalachian Trail and the Great Smokies in the middle of the Blue Ridge mountains. With over 55,000 acres of National forest youâll find lots of opportunities for whitewater rafting, hiking, fishing, biking and zip lining.
There are five other guestrooms on property. Shared common areas include a 50' front porch overlooking downtown Marshall and the French Broad River, a living room on the ground floor and the second floor, multiple dining areas, a game room and a fire pit. The abundance of common area spaces available for you to enjoy is one of the best perks of staying at the Inn!
There are a number of books to enjoy, a 65" Samsung smart TV and games in the cozy second floor living room (there are no TVs in the guestrooms). On the other side of the property you can enjoy the fire pit (firewood included), or watch TV in the game room while choosing between a game of ping pong, skee-ball, giant jenga, chess and poker. If you are traveling with others and would like to consider adding on a private space for your group, there is a flex space above the game room available for rental which is perfect for yoga (mats provided), booking a mobile masseuse for your group, or using the space for an art retreat.
