Gorgeous place, convenient for Stirling. Friendly staff, great restaurant, all you could want for breakfast. Bar, great sitting area. I mean, it's a CASTLE! We had the honeymoon suite which was spectacular. All in all a great experience
We had an incredible stay at the hotel! The staff truly made our experience memorable. A special shoutout to Logan, who was incredibly helpful and kind. He generously upgraded us to a different room at no extra chargeâwhat a wonderful gesture!
Then there was Lizzy, the bartender, who felt like an angel sent from heaven. She was not only extremely kind but also had a beautiful smile and an astonishing personality. We had such a fantastic day in this lovely place!
Itâs a castle! There were a couple of minor things with the room that were taken care of immediately by the super helpful and friendly staff. Recommended đ
We got bad directions thru google coming in at night and made 3 wrong turns before finding the entrance. Signage isnt lit or big enough. Beds are hard. Shower took 5 mins to get warm. However, dinner was excellent and the restaurant owner was utterly delightful and accomodating!
Hotel was dated and breakfast was poor, never had a meal at night as found the menu was rather small and nothing of interest on it.
Ordered a bottle of champagne to be on ice on our arrival to find a bottle of Prosecco so that got left. Booked the garden view room with the four poster bed and ended up with a completely different room with very dated worn out furniture and iron burn marks on the carpet.
Found the place to have a stoor smell about it too.
Breakfast was another experience, weak coffee, slightly warm breakfast which was clearly not cooked to order and break juice was evidently diluting juice and not fresh orange. For a romantic night away I wouldnât be advising this place to anyone. The only good thing about our stay was the company I was in and getting away from it the next day.
Greeted by owner right away. She showed us to our rooms. She even upgraded one of our rooms to a lower level for easier access by our older friend. Supper was great and breakfast was fast and tasty
Comfortable room. Nice size. Hotel & restaurant are different companies, Restaurant menu is quite small as itâs a small hotel tucked out of the way, but the food is really good quality for the price & itâs not too far to Stirling or Alva if you are staying for a long stay as we were, if you wanted to try something else. The hotel front of house staff/bar staff are very friendly & pleasant
