The room itself is fantastic, Aurora who assisted me was very kind and even put a few things in the fridge for me (I arrived very late) but the people who live in the building (and those lingering around outside the entry) made me feel very unsafe. I was very surprised because the location is directly behind the Merano Terme Hotel (which is posh) but this building is apparently mostly consisting of low cost monthly rental apartments. I had one incident where a man followed me in and wanted me to allow him access to the elevator with my key card. I went back outside and called a friend to escort me to my floor (and door). The room was great but as a single female, I wouldn’t stay here again.
