I loved the renovations to the Sky Bar and Katherine's. The meal there was amazing. The rooms sorely need to be renovated, and the dri k service at the pool was way too slow. I know it was their first busy weekend of summer, but 15-20 minutes is too long to wait in line for a drink. They were understaffed for the holiday weekend.

The facility was a little run down, but comfortable. The bed was good. The pool area was very attractive. The check-in was easy and the attendent was very helpful and nice. The coffee shop was great. Excellent coffee at a reasonable price.

We were disappointed in the Casa Blanca this trip. We have stayed here a couple of times a year for many years. This year we found several things that were substandard. In our room, everything on the nightstand was unplugged and the wall outlet wasn’t visible to us. We called down to the desk, no answer. My husband went down and reported the problem and was told that someone would be up shortly to fix it, no one ever came. The sink in the bathroom was draining very slowly. The room was not as clean as we expected and the carpet outside our door was covered with crumbs. The cafe we usually eat at was closed, leaving us with a very expensive restaurant, a mediocre buffet or a sandwich shop for dinner & breakfast. Needless to say, we canceled our return stay and booked at another casino for our return trip.
