Care, unit is not ocean view or Corner unit as advertised. I complained before arriving, when I noticed the room number. nothing was made. see, the ad says: "this large studio over 550 sqft ocean view and bay view corner unit ...". needs urgent maintenance. bed is in bad condition. Run
Away. valet parking terrible. expect to wait a long time, sometimes an hour. pool, many outdoor users, front pool chairs are reserved by the hotel staff for those who tip high.
I always stay at the the Fontainebleau residences when traveling to Miami which is very frequent. All of my experiences besides this one was amazing. My fiance and I checked in on Valentines Day. We had dinner reservations at 7pm. Unfortunately we missed our reservations because the TV in the unit was not working and they kept sending different maintenance techs in the room. I contacted the host in reference to this matter. His solution was for us to continue with our plans leaving all of our personal belongings in the room while all these different techs come in. I did not agree with that. I contacted VRBO (which is the company I booked through. The representative was very understanding to the situation. She reached out to him. His response was âItâs just a TVâ My total for 3 nights came to 3k. I expect everything to work. This wasnât the Motel 6. At 6:33pm they finally brought a new tv in. It took them an hour to install and setup. Itâs Valentineâs Day, we missed our reservations and everything is booked. We ended up having to Uber Eats. There are no blankets in the room. All the silverware and utensils are in the drawers that your clothes go in. The view from the balcony is horrible. Please donât let the ad fool you. Honestly, I understand things happen. The thing is the host showed no sympathy or no type of accommodation for ANYTHING. He couldâve said have some gummy bears from the mini bar on meâŠANYTHING! Something is better than nothing. Please avoid this host
We were really disappointed after all of the hype centered around "Fountainebleu." If he had paid to stay in the hotel, we would have been even more livid. This unit has its flaws, the little things like the sink handles wiggling and almost falling off. And the big things, like the fridge that almost dies constantly and the loud AC unit. The balcony was nice and the bed was comfortable. But everything is cramped and needs an update. the property was over crowded and didn't feel like a luxury resort. It felt like a cruise ship with overpriced drinks, 2 hr waits for food that was mediocre and a beach that looked like Where's Waldo. Save your money
We had a great weekend stay in this suite at Fontainebleau. Room and bathroom are comfortable size for two adults. Would definitely stay again! Thanks!
Have stayed at the hotel multiple times, but never in an owner's unit. Experience was similar; however the unit does require some maintenance (bathroom door handle) to keep it on par with the regular hotel rooms. Overall it was good not great. Check-in process was easy and there were no limitations on using hotel facilities.
